Clearly.
No offense brother.

The message is believe and put your faith in Jesus and obey him in that faith and you will be saved.
The quality of your past and the quality of your obedience is never the issue, God looks at the heart.
Who you belong to is is all that matters.
You belong to the one you love trust and obey
Most still belong to themselves because they love trust and obey themselves as evidenced by their actions.

Some are in the process of coming to submit everything in faith to Jesus's Lordship because they do believe and do belong to Him.
"All those who have their hope in Him, purify themselves just as He is pure"
Again this is subtle Lordship salvation. ////The message is believe and put your faith in Jesus and obey him in that faith and you will be saved.//// . If you mean that you hear the message of the Gospel and you believe it then ok. If you mean we have to submit ourselves, commit and
His lordship is one of love.
The authority of God and Christ are rooted in His nature that is Love.
The lordship we submit to is His love.
Becoming rooted and grounded in love is the first part of every believers walk.
But that is also based on obedience to his lordship, for example Baptism as a first step of faith.
But you know love through trusting and giving yourself to it.
You experience love by letting it have you.
Faith is required to receive love.
Our obedience to his Lordship is a matter of Faith to receive the Love of God through Jesus Christ.

it is just so amazing.

I think of Jacob who fought with God and lost big time, but then he clung to God in faith in Gods loving kindness and won.
Again this is a false message . Its about Jesus ,not us . Its about believing what He did for us that saves . Its not about what we DO . The Gospel is a message about salvation. About actually receiving Jesus ,actually being forgiven of all sins and being sealed by the Holy Spirit . your Preaching 'Lordship salvation ' which is bondage and legalism . The Gospel is not 'obedience 'nor is it dis obedience. Its not commitment or a promise to try hard . There is no good news in what you preach .

The very nature of the Pharisee is hypocrisy.
As if knowing God and being his servants.
As if submitted to his Lordship.
But in fact their actions and their heart testifies against them.
Modern day Pharisees all everywhere, they claim to know God but continue in sin, many claim it is impossible to do otherwise.
They claim to represent him yet you can feel the lack of love and the resulting deadness in their words.

By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments. If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him: Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked

To know God was once a really really big deal. It meant you had been perfected made holy.
The love of God (Christ) which we obey brings about holiness and godliness in us.
We all are headed there as those who have committed themselves to His lordship.

There is a starting point and there is a finish line.
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death.

The result of our obedience to the true nature of His lordship should look like this:
Through Him you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him; and so your faith and hope are in God. Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth so that you have a genuine love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from a pure heart.
actually if you look Pharisees were very strict keepers of Moses law. They were so focused on obeying the joys and tittles that they forgot about mercy.

the Pharisees were hypocrites because all of us have sinned And they pretended they were righteous and here’s the thing with that is this

James is addressing that they favor rich well dressed members over poor members in rags.

“If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.”
‭‭James‬ ‭2:8-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the law of liberty James is talking about is if you aren’t merciful to others you will have no mercy at judgement. Once a person breaks the law 1 time they are guilty of breaking the entire law even if you’ve always kept it .

so James is saying act as those who will be judged by this law

“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again;

and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:35-38‬ ‭

“ for judgement without mercy will be shown to those who’ve shown no
Mercy “ and blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy “ those who judge will be judged those who condemn will be condemned those who refuse to forgive will not be forgiven .

that’s freedom because sinless humans don’t exist we need mercy daily whether we know it or not

I agree with all the scripture you posted for sure , I just sort of think you have missed the importance of mercy to sinners just slightly maybe .

And possibly missed the personal nature of a relationship to Christ based on faith how much you know is the measure tour accountable for so it makes it impossible to judge each other

“And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes.

For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required

and to whom hath been committed much, of him he will ask the more.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:47-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

your accountable for the measure of ypur faith and others for theirs. That being all said I’m not trying to hinder your message about obedience and “
Lordship” so I’ll stop with this one

hope to find some Better agreement another time and agree fully with what your saying I just was mentioning a thought or two God bless you

I believe God is gracious.
But building up people based on lies is not good. To leave out the lordship aspect of salvation is to leave out the part that saves you.

The voyage of ones salvation would be better served from the start in the understanding and full embrace of obedience to Christs lordship as the means of ones salvation, receiving the Spirit of God and the resulting holiness which so many many struggle with.
Too many end up uncertain in regards of their salvation because the lacking of understanding and up front commitment it the lordship of Jesus out of love as of our resulting slavery to righteousness in place of our slavery to sin.

We are saved by regeneration .Salvation is eternally secured by the sealing of the spirit not " i promise to commit and obey " .

Rom 9
31But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
33As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

its a weird way to express it.
It would be more biblical to say God change my heart (from stony to flesh) than have Jesus enter your heart.

The only biblical reference thats similar is actually when SATAN enters Judas heart in Luke 22:3-6
for god has sent the spirit of his son into your hearts by which we cry abba father ...if ye are sons Then heirs of God with Christ

The only reference we have for " from stony to flesh " is about Israel which will be a supernatural event that takes place for them in the future and has no bearing on Salvation for the church age .
Eze 36
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Calvinists also use this verse thinking its about irresistible Grace or regeneration precedes faith .

Have you not read the bible regarding all of these things?

How does one receive the Holy Spirit?
If any one loves me," replied Jesus, "he will obey my teaching; and my Father will
love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. - John 14:23

How someone is saved?
But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess (Jesus Lordship) and are saved.

Are you saying it is merely a mental ascent to the lordship of Jesus and not the submission of your life to Jesus Lordship that saves?

To that I would say
Not
everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord!' will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven - Mat 7:21

and would say
Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? - Luke 6:46

I find people who have issue with these words of God are those who cling to the distortions of Calvin.
Fearing they might do some work of the law, they reject the works of faith that result in salvation.
Believing instead they must do nothing to obey Faith and only that disobedience plus some mental ascent is somehow Gods Grace.

But Gods Grace is in giving us Jesus to be our Lord and Saviour.
And our Faith is in giving ourselves to his Lordship and receiving His Grace for salvation as one who has become his.
Not Saviour apart from His lordship.
Not Saviour and then later Lord
But our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (the bible has reason behind the order of things)

ok easy on the ' gish gallop . The fact that some who Jesus never knew did submit to Jesus Lordship ( whatever that means ) evidenced by the " Lord ,Lord " and they are saying they are doing works for him ? But the fact remains Jesus NEVER knew them . A person has to be in Christ for him to ' know' us .
Galations 4

sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
8¶Howbeit then, when ye KNEW not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
9But now, after that ye have KNOWN God, OR RATHER are KNOWN of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
10Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
11I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

" submission of our life " ? what does that even mean ? sure you can get churches in line preaching this way . Out of fear . But its false teaching creating false converts sadly .
" Merely a mental ascent to historical facts ? Are we fooling God . Do you think He knows when a person truly Believes the Gospel? of course that's a silly Question.
Romans 10 .9 does not say .
unless you confess Jesus as Lord ,promise to serve and obey till death do ye part ect ect.

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, ( AS opposed to another Jesus who did not rise from the dead and is not KYRIOS and shalt BELIEVE in thine heart ( the difference between mental ascent ) that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.( absolute confirmation He was who He said He was )
10For with the heart man BELIEVETH unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. ( Believe on who ? an angel ? a man ? a demi god? or kyrios?
12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord ( Kyrios) over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord ( kyrios )shall BE SAVED ( Not ' shall be on probation with a cease fire)
14¶How then shall they call on him in whom they have not BELIEVED? and how shall they BELIEVE in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath BELIEVED our report?

Whilst your zeal to want to serve Jesus and obey what the Bible says ( in context) is the right attitude . But I see you disobeying the bible by adding to it requirements for salvation. We can have the right intentions but be wrong in understanding.

And what is his teaching? thats the issue .
John 3 .
14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
If we look at the example Jesus gives for what He is about to do on the cross for the sins of the whole world. We see that God sent a plauge of serpents .They did not have to make a pledge to be obedient and make God Lord and master of their lives and pocket book . They failed repeatedly at obeying the laws ect . No Jesus gives this as the example because they simply had to look ( believe) and live. God shows the example of what was needed to forgive the sins of the people . God only accepts that we believe the Gospel then He comes to us and they make their home with us .

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20

Would this door Jesus knocks on be our hearts? If we invite him in by opening the door, would that make the statement Biblical?
Rev 3v20 is NOT aimed at the sinner (i.e. the worldling), but at Christians, more specifically to the Christians at Laodicea who were living bad lives!

I stand corrected.
ok more biblical to say God sends the SPIRIT of His son into your hearts. Of course Jesus in the flesh cant enter our hearts. That would be kinda difficult to do.

God changing hearts of stone to hearts of flesh actually does have to do with salvation, except some people totally dismiss any OT as nothig to do with salvation, but too bad us believers believe everything in OT points to Jesus anyway....

I mean just how big is Israel. Do people honestly think Israel is limited to the tiny block of land currently in the middle east...or if we are TRULY adopted/grafted in arent we many as the descendents of Abraham as numerous as the stars in the sky and sand on the seashore?

No verse outside of the focus of Israel says anything about a heart of stone being replaced by flesh so we follow statutes and commands . Thats clearly about Isreal .

Rev 3v20 is NOT aimed at the sinner (i.e. the worldling), but at Christians, more specifically to the Christians at Laodicea who were living bad lives!
You are seriously mistaken (as are many others about the church at Laodicea.. No Christian is spiritually naked, blind, wretched, poor, and miserable. And Christ does not stand outside the door of a Christians's heart, since He dwells within. As to making that a physical door, that would be absurd.

Question: "Is it biblical to ask Jesus into your heart?"

I don't believe that anyone, at least on a biblical basis, will go to hell for asking Jesus into their heart.
