That's your argument? So you actually believe that God's redeemed people will keep the sabbath day holy under the law throughout eternity in the new heavens and new earth? What about the new moon which is also mentioned in that verse? So why would there still be need for the sun and moon in the new heavens and new earth and why would only the city, new Jerusalem be exempt? Again, the Isaiah passage simply means that God’s people will perpetually worship Him in contrast to keeping the weekly sabbath day under the law.

Did you realize that the word "Sabbath" first appears in Exodus 16:23 - Then he said to them, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.

Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel (Exodus 16:23, 29; 31:12-18; 35:1-3; Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3,32; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13; Amos 8:5; Nehemiah 10:31) that is not binding on Christians in the New Testament. (Colossians 2:16-17)

The Word of God makes it clear that Sabbath observance was a sign between God and Israel. “The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested.” (Exodus 31:16-17) Are you an Israelite under the law?

In Deuteronomy 5, Moses restates the Ten Commandments to the next generation of Israelites. Here, after commanding Sabbath observance in verses 12–14, Moses gives the reason the Sabbath was given to the nation Israel: “Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.” (Deuteronomy 5:15)

I was watching 'Noah-The Last Days' series on Amazon and am worried about my working on the Sabbath day. After watching part 2
which talks about the covenant God made with Noah, his people entered into the Arc which is symbolized as the covenant. Part of the covenant was to keep the Sabbath holy, or sanctify, that day with rest and not to work. I work nights Sundays through Wednesdays and am worried after
watching this video. It stresses not working on Sundays.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!
At current, this is the way I see how Jesus's last week in Jerusalem unfolded. (See attachment)

If this is correct, then Jesus rose on the 8th day nullifying the requirements of the Sabbath. Those who have died with Christ and have risen with Christ are new creations who have received the promise of the "8th day". Those in Christ are no longer to dwell in the 7th day, but to live as new creations made in the 8th day. Thus we are bound to the Sabbath no more.

Relax; Sunday is not "Sabbath".
But our churches today treat it as God asked us to treat the Sabbath. If we treat the day God told us to, we are like the man who was said to be the only man in step in the parade.

Well have no fear for you can work on Sunday, and eat pork if you want, because it is spiritual now and not a physical covenant.
That is what the Gnostics say, they say God is only spiritual and what is physical is not of God. Scripture calls them false prophets.

As God created our earth and us, God made a connection between the spiritual and the physical. He made love what makes the world of the spiritual go round, and love that is only spiritual without anything physical expressing it is no love at all.

also if youve been working too much, you can have an entire Sabbath year to make up for it.
Only if you work for a participating employer. I surmise that there won't be very many, if any.

There are still blessings on earth, and in the physical, but we do not have to go by the physical ordinances of Israel for the body is of Christ.

As "our churches" probably understand that the Sabbath is only a shadow of the reality that is in Christ, they recognize that honoring Christ is more important than honoring the Sabbath. That can be done any day of the week.

Which one is set aside as ceremonial law ? a shadow? Which one uses two different parables from two different rendering of the commandments . . parables to reasons by to guard or keep them ? Are moral laws defined as parables that teach us how to walk by faith.

God (Sanctified) the 7th day, it's one of the Ten Commandments.

Do you really believe you can interject your opinion to remove and revoke God's Words?

Not Hardly, Your Only Kidding (Yourself)

Genesis 2:1-3KJV
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exodus 20:8-11KJV
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

I am not interjecting my opinion to remove and revoke God's Words.

Ceremonial law as shadows use parables to reason by. They give us the understanding of faith. The understanding is hid from the faithless.

The Deuteronomy account differs as to beginnings (Creation) with the same ending of the Exodus (exit from Egypt).. Moral laws do not have reasoning done through parables. It was not accidental but as in most cases he uses two witnesses to represent the one witness of God.

Deuteronomy 5: 15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

Exodus 29: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Why do you think he spoke that law as a parable two different ways ? As a shadow what was it pointing to?

The Lord tells Israel to sacrifice animals at the tabernacle/temple on the Sabbath.

To what, specifically, are you referring when you say, "honor the Sabbath"?

By the way, there are several things one can say of Jesus that cannot be said (rightly) of the Father: the Father was never incarnate; the Father was not crucified; the Father was not resurrected.

It would really be helpful for you to learn how to construct coherent sentences. I suspect there isn't a person on earth who could figure out what you're trying to say here.

Please take a class.

The Father sanctified the 7th day, and gave man a direct commandment to follow it.

I strongly disagree with your 8th day theory.

God sanctified the 7th day as seen below, it hasn't been revoked or replaced.

Genesis 2:1-3KJV
