Most all of the Christians I know are Democrats; the area where I live is heavily blue. Only a few people at my church at Republicans. I would say most everyone at my church is against abortion though, but are probably indifferent or accepting of LGBT.
The new socialist party is so radical and anti Bible you either have to be ignorant or fake. The Bible is clear about genders, sexual immorality, marriage, life, and morality. It isn't hard to see we are in a spiritual battle of good vs evil. The DNC just took under God out of the pledge of allegiance. Pelosi told the atheist and secularist the Democrats relate to them the most. And have taken other opportunities to remove God out of Congress traditions.
Thank you for at least posting this in miscellaneous. Hopefully I can hear some believers with different acquaintances and the reasons for their voting choices other than where I am from where it is rather one sided by choice (not exposing myself to people that are against the Word) but at the same time just like Catholicism, I think there are some believers scattered in different political backgrounds and it'd be helpful to hear from them 
Here is a thought born of meditation? "Thy Kingdom come, They will be done, ON EARTH as it in Heaven."
All who pray this believe it for every Body Member of Jesus-Yeshua,. Whether you are considered left or right in politics, you have no business nullifying the sentiment of the partyer given us by Jesus.
Hear this if you believe. Pray for all souls and all countries while we are in this age. Do not put any politician or country ahead of the Kingdom unless you consider yourself above being a citizen of the Kingdom subject of the King.
Keep common, vulgar and basically improper dialogue out of the CC forums and take them wherever they may truly belong................There will be no Light on your way.

There was an unmarried couple living together who couldn't pay rent, so they asked for some help. We did help them. I was told that one person in the meeting (who I know is an older woman from Alabama but votes Democrat) had some questions on whether to help them but most everyone else did not have strong opinions. I think many churches would not have helped them.
For me, I don’t agree with what Democrats say, and I think it is up to the Christian to decide where they want to vote. Like if they agree with the Democrats politics then they can vote for them, but just be aware they do support stuff that isn’t good. Yes I do know Trump isn’t the best, but he has gotten stuff done while being office, and for the bad stuff he has said, it will come back as a consequence for him.
Honestly, my biggest problem is how “silencing” the left is. Like colleges won’t let political speakers on their campus in fear of “riots because said speaker hurt their feelings”, I just don’t agree with it. Their is no hate speech, only free speech. Plus, when the Democrats mention on how they want college to be free, that is insulting. I’m a asperger syndrome person that went to community, yes it took me a extra 2 years and I did have to use food stamps for a short period of time, but I graduated and have NO DEBT, IT CAN BE DONE. With trying to make college free, means more taxes to pay for those programs. Plus like I mentioned with how certain colleges limit who is allowed to speak on their campus, most of the big colleges are a joke. It is because I’ve seen the hate the Democratic young people show to those that don’t agree with them, is what made me decide to vote Republican. Yes I know there are crazy republicans, but at least they aren’t trying to make college free...sorry for rant, I just get really worked up about this stuff and never really get a chance to share it with anyone, in fear of being hated on.

The answer to the OP's question would at first seem to most of us to be obvious. No, a born again Child of God cannot vote Democrat.
But it's not as simple as that. Almost 35 yrs ago, even before I was a Christian, I became politically aware of the fact that in order to be or vote Democrat, one had to be either ignorant and naive, of just plain evil. There literally is no other alternative explanation.
OBVIOUSLY I AM NOT SAYING THAT REPUBLICANS ARE SAINTLY AND PURE AS THE WIND DRIVEN SNOW!
But look at how insanely wicked and evil their agenda is today.
Defund the police,
Abortion up to and INCLUDED for a time AFTER birth,
Forced acceptance of homosexuality and even transgenderism accompanied by punishment against Christians for speaking against and resisting.
Openly advocating Marxism / Socialism, and destruction of Capitalism,
Open borders for any and ALL illegal aliens,
An OUTRIGHT animosity toward God,
There is more, but even just ONE of the above should utterly preclude a professed Christian from voting Democrat.
Now people don't like to be called ignorant, whether it's absolutely true or not. They cling to identity politics. Bringing up the failings of INDIVIDUALS, rather than implemented and attempted implementation of policy.
Or they examine an issue using a mile wide and inch deep approach. Saying things like, " Police abuse their power, especially against minorities" As if events perpetrated by individuals applies to the whole, and solution should be to get rid of them.
Or, "I personally think abortion is murder, but I can't tell other women that murdering their baby should be against the law".
So I think there are vast numbers of people, who may in fact be Christians, yet are too proud to examine their ignorance. It's very hard for ALL of us to admit we were ignorant and wrong on something. But we are now at the point that is no longer acceptable, and everyone is going to stand before the Lord one day and explain why they voted for a crystal clear EVIL agenda.

Thanks, I guess I just always worry, I am constantly giving my will and worries to God, but I’m human and forgetful. But yeah last time I shared how I feel about something, it was on Instagram and I shared how I don’t support pride month. Like if people wanna be homosexual then so be it, but if they came up to me and asked if I support their marriage I will have to say no, because a marriage of that type is not good before the lord. But yeah I mentioned that stuff, and how companies don’t actually care about the LTBQ people, if they actually cared they would keep the “pride colors” as their company colors, they only do it as a way to manipulate that group of people to spend money on their stuff. I think manipulating and pandering to people to get money is evil and also creatively awful, can’t stand Illumination Entertainment movies. But yeah after posting that on Instagram I had a friend of 2 years (He also “claimed” to be Christian) blocked me on Instagram, several other people blocked me, and someone sent me “clown music” as a insult to my opinions. I still have Instagram, but it’s only to keep talking to people I still get along with/people I know in real life, like my stepbrothers, and that’s basically it.

That's pretty cool that you went ahead with school and didn't listen to anyone telling you college wasn't for you (if they did). Everyone learns at different rates but we all learn.
I'm a fan of education reform for certain. It's a long topic though. College could already be free if a small percentage of the money allowed per student (ages 6-18) was put into a social security account to be used for college. Those that choose not to go could use the money for a trade school or certifications. It's already socialized and already "free"...just more than what it costs to go to college.
10k/year per student (depending on where you live) vs the cheapest state school in Georgia (where I live) being 4k/year (probably the cheapest). If one were going yearly with rent it'd cost more, but a part-time job is not unreasonable. After all, public school (grades 1-12) doesn't house you either.
I'm sad and believing against division in the body over politics. Perhaps people should consider why people are so resolute and since believers are a minority in the world, bear in mind that the collective agenda is perhaps not representative of their personal beliefs.
I myself do not see how someone can be a believer and support certain things, but possibly if they explained it might clear the air a bit. Maybe they don't really support those things but see them as inevitable and simply see other goals as more feasible within a different political party? Not sure.

I have only one in my family that is born again and Holy Spirit, the rest have rejected true Christianity and at best hold to an outward form, which is lukewarm at best. Stay the course, keep growing in him, your prayers will grow in power for them, though they spurn and abuse you now.

Yah with people like that just dust your feet off and keep preaching the truth. Scripture warns us we will lose friends and sometimes our own family will be against us. It comes down to who do we fear more. God or man? This is why it is extremely important that we keep like minded brothers and sisters around to encourage each other. The true body of Christ is one family in the Word of God. We stand and fall together, we weep and laugh together, we share each others burdens so that no one will feel alone.
I recall a teaching recently from a man of God who was directed to start a Bible school in a town, everything fell in place, seemingly miraculously, the place was made available, advertising was made available, seemingly God inspired, everything, and nobody came. he asked the Lord what happened? Had he missed the leading?
He was told he was judged on obedience and this town would be judged on how they rejected this move of God in their midst.
This may go down to the personal level, perhaps to each person who God encountered to partake of His teaching this way and they rejected Him.
Each day of our lives walked in faith may someday be revealed in this light, every thought, word and deed.

you dont have to vote for anybody you dont trust.
You can just not vote. You can follow God instead. A lot of people are too concerned with the cares and concerns of this world and that chokes their faith. So they end up putting their trust in politicians who are only in power for 8 years at most rather than faith in Gods eternal power.
