In my studies, I try to check the scriptures against one another for harmony, knowing that if all of the scriptures do not harmonize, then I am not understanding the truths within them.
Matt 20:16, For many be called, but few chosen. I take this to mean that God calls many to be his adopted children, but only reveals doctrinal truths to but a few. I believe that Matt 7:13-14 harmonizes with this scripture, in the fact that those who go into the wide gate are the many called and quickened that are believing in false doctrines, and false preachers have lead them to destruction. and the few chosen are those quickened persons who have studied with sincerity to understand the scriptures, and have been revealed the truths of the doctrine of Christ. The life that the narrow path leads to is not eternal life, but an abundant, and joyful life that they are granted to live here as they sojourn in this world. I also believe the scriptures teach that those who will populate heaven will be too many to count, as the stars in heaven, and the sand in the sea shore. Heb 11:12 also harmonizes. There are more, I just can not put my finger on them right now.

You do realise that this forum is a bible discussion forum, do you not? How can you discuss the bible, without discussing scripture?
Your rude and disrespectful comments does not have anything to do with discussing the bible.
Look in the mirror, and see if you can see yourself, as what you are.
Did I say "anyone on the site"? That is, unless you think that you are "top" on the site, which is probably what you think.
Now you have me taking up your bad habits, in which I refuse to continue doing. If You don't know the scriptures well enough to discuss them with me, then it is wasting my time to respond at all to your posts.

You see you desire respect for a dogma that is far removed from biblical truth.
When compared to truth, the tenets of Calvinism (whether you know his work or not, you have been taught it) is much like a dystopian fantasy/unreality.
I’ve read Ephesians 2 several times and see Paul as being metaphorical and encouraging to newfound believers but not permanently discounting people who did not believe up to that point. Like a coach telling his or her players they’re destined for greatness.
Thanks Duskey, I welcome any scriptures that talk about not permanently discounting people who do not believe up to the point of being quickened.
I am not wasting my time with you and decon, because your desire is not to discuss scriptures, but to spew out hateful and disrespectful remarks.

Meaning you know many of us thankfully, will not be persuaded by a dogma that is in direct contradiction scriptural truth.
God created a whole section of humanity for destruction and denied salvation, not biblical yet>>>>> people who have not done their proper research on the reasons for the formulation of this very false scheme are even giving you support...smh!!

Their does seem to be elements of an unspiritual nature/behaviour in here and which seems to be present in all Christian avenues now. I'm sorry you were grieved by a fellow Christian about Scripture. It's always harder when this type of thing comes from within the Christian community. I found this a lot on my journey trying to find answers but now I feel like praying for them who attack because I too was once angry and bitter but when I think of the sins forgiven me and the cost, how can I not forgive my brother or sister in Christ. Even more so when they are being attacked when they are at their weakest spiritually.
Take care and keep up the good fight and continue on your path with the peace of the Spirit.
Dead,also means spiritually dead.....so total " inability" to please or connect with God......until he makes us alive in Christ.

To promote that God must "regenerate" prior to belief is to deny the power of the Gospel and what scripture plainly teaches, if this is in fact what your are stating?
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

See, that is the problem, you do discuss scripture, all you do is spew Calvinistic views while boasting how well you harmonize scripture....go look in the mirror pal...you and your cronies may have a few women and children bamboozled by Calvin's doctrine and the spin you put on truth, but the rest of us see right trlhrough it and the funny thing, like your mentor, you hypocritically do what you accuse us of doing....BOASTING how much you think you know and how well you harmonize, blah blah blah....No sir....you do not harmonize truth, nor does anyone that promotes Calvinism....a false god that makes man "A" for heaven and man "B thru Z" for hell....the bible contains no such false god.
It utterly amazes me how anyone can swallow that heretical false belief....the bible is very clear on the order and the first absolute step BEFORE ONE IS REGENERATED OR BORN AGAIN FROM ABOVE IS BELIEF INTO THE MESSAGE.
These people are so deceived it is tragic and sickening at the same time!
