Did they tie a rope around the High Priest Ankle before he went into the Holy of Holies in case he died they could pull him out?

There is no scripture for this, and research by various sides has turned up nothing, even in tradition. One party (Jewish) said that the Veil between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies was so thick it would have made it impossible to drag an adult under it.

Exodus 28 all the instructions for the High Priest's 'dress code'

found this interesting:

35Aaron must wear the robe whenever he ministers, and its sound will be heard when he enters or exits the sanctuary before the LORD, so that he will not die.

the sound assured he would not die?

no rope though

he's really pretty cool. very large jpeg file and had to resize cause they require square here and could only put the top portion in cause the photo is portrait mode

It is the expression on the bunny's face that cracks me up............ I have bunnies in my yard... they scamper at the first sound.
Bunnies do need armour I guess..........lol

The robes of the saints signify righteousness, I think that might have to do something with it.

Well now, here in Spain it is getting a wee bit late for this one, 8,15 pm. Usually I am in the sack before 8 but tonight it is a bit uncomfortably hot, so I am awaiting a cooling, at least down to the upper 7i0's. Oh, the bonny does remind me of Pizzaro or Hernan Cortez....God bless all reading, and good night from this side of the Atlantic.

That's what happens when sermons focus on pointless literal details (they say the Devil is in the Detail) instead of the substance and essence of the Biblical stories. Tomayto, Tomahto. Potayto, Potahto. The point is they're the edible fruit or vegetable we want. And, that's all that matters. Thanks be to God.
