Have you noticed how much our world has changed? Some serious changes, but so many things are just plan silly, and I don't mean  .........
I mean in the past couple days I have lost count of the number of times I've been informed that I cannot do something or get something "because of the virus".
SO, here's a thread to share our experiences with such things........

For example:
The other morning I pulled into Taco Bell's drive thru, I was ready to order a breakfast burrito after months of not having one. Well this particular location is notorious for not putting the breakfast menu sign out in the mornings. SO I pulled up and told the order box that I wasn't sure of the meal number since the breakfast sign isn't up but I want the burrito combo..." I was interrupted with
"I'm sorry, that's because we don't serve breakfast anymore"
but they serve the cinnabon balls ONLY during breakfast hours now  which is what I was sent there for anyways, so I ordered them, pulled up to the window and was informed:

DUE TO THE VIRUS we aren't being supplied with eggs anymore so we are unable to serve breakfast items.

(and yet the grocery store next door had shelves over flowing with eggs and priced VERY LOW : 2 dozen/ $1

What I noticed is that my commute to work and back has greatly shortened due to the fact that a lot of people that are out of work are not on the roads.

Due to this virus... (you know this one)
we are at a point in history where we have to go get checked, tested, double checked and officially confirmed by specialists, doctors, librarians, COVID Analysts, Amazon delivery guys...

...that we even have the virus?

Weird.
I may be showing my age by saying this....but I remember the days when you knew you had a virus by having symptoms.

(BTW, lm not saying that it’s not a real virus....just a really confusing one)

Due to the virus the United States has been over run by ninjas. I don't know their intentions nor do I know where they all came from, but all of a sudden they're everywhere.

aw sad, due to the virus I am sick in bed and at home. But at least I get paid since everyone else is forced to shutdown too.
when I was sick last week I didnt get paid by one of my employers but if the whole country is sick I WILL get paid. Ironic.

BTW its a cold, but I dont want to spread it to anyone.

It would be nice to have mcdonalds, but I dont have anyone to go buy it for me.

covid-19 is weird because they say if you dont have symptoms you might have it, then they say get tested but who is going to drag themselves out of bed to be into contact with MORE people to get tested.

and ppl arent sympathetic when you have a cold either. I was lying in bed headache, cant do anything and mum just tells me Im lazy and asks me to go fetch something for her from up the road. I AM SICK I CANT DO ANYTHING.

I know this isn't epic but the local huge thrift store just reopened, yayy. They have neat clothes, shoes, jewelry, books, and misc.
The change is buyers can't try anything on, all dressing rooms are closed. So they offer a 10 day exchange policy if something doesn't fit they can exchange it. Still so happy to have it back:love:!

Where I work there are daily temperature checks. One day, each worker tested had a temp of 90 degrees. I believe that is the normal temperature for zombies. This was after waiting a month for our test results. I guess we turned into the walking dead. Never felt better though. Weird.

yaaaayyyy!
Now that's interesting. I went to a thrift shop the other day and the fitting rooms were open (every other one) BUT where it used to have a return policy within 14 days for store credit, now ALL SALES FINAL- due to the virus.

Also banditos from old western movies. (I wear a bandanna for a face mask.)

Almost every car in the parking lot of a local outpatient surgery center had the motor running. While waiting on my wife to complete her pre-op, I was parked in the shade and was enjoying a cool breeze when a car pulled in beside me and set there with the motor running. So much for the cool breeze.

I wonder how much gas is used as the result of the patient only rules.

The virus will be miraculously contained not long after November 3rd. Funny how that works.

Aye, but cynicism... that is boundless and pervasive. There is always more of it and it cannot be contained. It will always spill into every conversation.

big storm wiped us out, just got power back, for a few days no one talked about virus, just the storm.
The last of the last days, everything is turned around, the good people are getting better, the bad people are getting worse. I am thinking some of this is a further separating of His sheep from the adversaries goats.

I went to a local town and rented a motel room, I have an apnea machine and can't sleep without it, I had a divine encounter with the wife of the couple who owns it, had a strong presence of Holt Spirit when I came into contact with them, she experienced His presence as well, stepping back as He manifested, I explained I carry Holy Spirit with me and He manifests through me, later I find they are muslim, husband said "we believe in Jesus", I stated I will continue to pray for them, this may be another "line upon line, precept upon upon precept" step in His plan for their lives, the wife remembered our meeting and talk at the hospital and spoke to her husband,"he is kind", ( and gave me a discount!). So great to offer and be accepted to be His hands and feet in this world!

My wife and I both require oxygen at night. We bought a generator the day before Michael hit. It was, by far the greatest investment that we ever made. We were 26 days without electricity in the aftermath of the storm. FEMA even gave us a check that covered half the cost.

God works through us. I'm glad that you took the time to listen to what He was saying.
