Amen to that....HE reconciled us to God by the offering of his body ONCE FOR ALL....I know I fail Jesus daily, but one thing I will always do.......100% point to Christ when it comes to our salvation, redemption, justification and positional sanctification! In my morning devotion today, all about how we are reconciled to God because of what God has done; no works on our part.

Amen!
Paul started many of his letters with “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
If we needed works and were not secured by His Grace, there would be no Peace.
Paul is affirming that God has reached out to us in Grace and thereby we have Peace.

love it...made me laugh at 550 Am in Australia hahahhahI’ve been away for a couple yrs...so bare with me.
I return to the most powerful thread in the history of threads...still going?
3.5 yrs in the making.
10.6 million views.
Any closer to a common ground answer?
Does this thread officially have health benefits for being on the job for 3+ yrs now?
BTW, DCon...l did leave on good terms with you right?
I could use someone as powerful as you and your super threads for this Justice League I’m putting together. It’s small at the moment, and the headquarters are located in my garage (part of it, need some space for my mopeds) We don’t have much money for weapons so we’re getting by with Nerf guns ...but you gotta start somewhere, right.
Let me know.

I want to be Iron Man in your Justice League. I don't think though that it would be politically correct anymore to call it the Justice League of America. Perhaps the Justice League of Amerika would be more suitable in this current political climate. Oh, I want to make my rounds on one of your mopeds.I’ve been away for a couple yrs...so bare with me.

How about I be the friendly neighborhood Spiderman? His uniform is cool while Superman's is kind of lame. He really needs to lose the cape. Lois Lane is hot though. So sorry.
My dog is Iron Man.
He insisted. He fit the uniform perfect. Granted, it was made from two red shoe boxes, a push light and some black electrical tape, and probably can be adjusted...
I promised him.
...And the Justice League isn’t anything without it’s word.
(Says so on the hand drawn sign l have hung on my BR door)
Let me know your second choice.
(Sorry DCon. Didn’t mean to ruin your thread...l know you just started it and all, ...and l don’t want to ruin its chances of going on for another 3 decades)
He is considered an essential fur'st responder.

Yeah, those are the superhero's that frequent the pages of Marvel. Growing up I was strictly DC. OK, I believe that Batman was a founding member of the Justice League of America. I still want use of one your mopeds though. I'm gonna trick it out and turn it into a Batped. Maybe you could be Robin (jk). Sorry about the slight on Superman. God bless Mom. Seriously.Sure.
Although I feel as tho it’s my job as leader to mention that Spidey isn’t part of the JL.
...neither is Iron Man. (that was probably bugging some DC fan reading this -DC (not DCon))
But since l make the rules. I took a vote with DeeOGee, and we decided...
”cool”
And yes, l was that kid on the playground that changed the rules as we went along.
That being said, and making this up as l go along, l do think DCon would fit the Wolverine costume well.
(Warning: it’s just a tshirt that says “Wolverin” being l ran out of room and couldn’t fit the “E” on it,
So sorry, but you try the crayons l used and see if you could do any better)
He just comes off as a guy who would feather his hair and have 17” stainless steel kitchen knives shoot out of his knuckles if anyone pissed him off/or simply stated...
“we get to Heaven by works!!”
Side note: The slam on Superman almost cost you your membership.
(You’re lucky the co-captain (my Mom) said to let it go)
