That is the grand revelation of Romans Chapter 9 to 11. It is un-understandable that a people, that had every advantage, could act so abominably as Israel did, and still be restored, and loved. How much more is the conversion to Christ of every Gentile. They not only acted abominably, but where "far from God" and His "enemies".

Nice verse.

Christ did not usher in the age of grace, we have had grace from the beginning for we are told "he will save" way back in the time of Jeremiah. Christ fulfilled what was said of Him. The OT gives us the details.

You keep knocking the truth over and over. Now it is that grace was not before Christ lived on earth. And in the first verses of the the chapter of John you quote from says that the word became flesh, the word was with God in the beginning. It is through Christ we have grace, that grace was at the beginning as scripture tells us over and over and is repeated here.

By using me to fight scripture, you are not touching me, I am just a servant of the Lord. You are hurting the word of the Lord.

Well the term grace first appeared in the story of Noah so yes you are correct there

Didn't I repeat a line of this scripture, that God has always saved? I said in my post "Christ", but even before Christ lived on earth salvation was always through His blood. It says so in Leb. 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood (we know now that is Christ's blood for there has never been another way to salvation) and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your sins, for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.

The entire Bible tells the story of the Grace of God... starting with the fall in the garden.

This is the same as the Father rejoicing over the prodigal coming home, which was, no doubt, intended by Christ to be the picture and portrayal of this exact time (Lk. 15:2-24)

So, He cleanses, He conquers, and He crowns.

I disagree. I think debate is good, it is only when judging of others enters in that it is not good. In Isaiah it speaks of debating. If the Lord is full of grace and has always been, it is good to bring out that fact. If grace began with the physical birth of Christ we should know that. It is not a bad thing to discuss this.

While God's grace has existed from the beginning........the "Grace" Christ ushered in is the New Covenant, Grace rather than the 1st Covenant, Law. So, yes, Christ ushered in the Covenant of Grace which makes it possible for ALL men to be saved and become worthy of being called the Sons of God.

The Chapter itself (vs. 14 onward) is speaking of God's grace towards Israel, and that's surely a good thing.

There is not only grace found in this Chapter, but HOPE as well......... :)

Do you think the new covenant changed the grace offered by the Lord?

My studies tell me the grace has always been the same, except until Christ fulfilled it, the salvation was in sleep to preserve the Saints, and after Christ we go to where the thief on the cross went.

In Matthew 27:51-53 it speaks of when the curtain split at the death on the cross and at the same time the tombs of the saints were opened and the saints who had fallen asleep were raised. They were seen by many and walked the streets of Jerusalem.
