I only have a minute, so this will have to be very brief:
Consider the following:
Daniel 9:24a , 25 , 26a (where a very specific "time-prophecy" is given):
24 Seventy weeks are decreed for your [Daniel's] people and your [Daniel's] holy city [...]
25 Know and understand this: From the issuance of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem
until the Messiah, the Prince,
there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of distress.
26 Then after the sixty-two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and will have nothing.
Then
the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. [...]
The 69 Weeks [/'sevens']
total (7 + 62) were concluded
on the very day that Jesus
DID the
Zech9:9 thing (re: "Jerusalem" / "the
city") and
SAID the
Luke 19:41-44 thing (also re: "Jerusalem" / "the city"--
see also Lk21:23,20 and
Matt22:7 re: the city... in the events of 70ad, which followed the Cross [32ad], just as
the SEQUENCE in the Dan9 passage shows to unfold).
Hope this helps you in your quest.
