Would you rather have a smooth, cool, very political talk like Obama but have almost every action to be harmful to America and many orders to especially hurt religious freedom and Biblical ideals? Or the soft approach to our enemies like Russia, China, North Korea, Anarchists, or Isis? All the past presidents only made many of these groups stronger. When I need a surgeon to cut out cancer, do you care if he has great bedside manners but sucks at his job. Or maybe the Drs bedside manner is rough but is the surgeon who can get the job done. We are at a time in history where I for one am thankful we have someone who will fight for conservatives. The Republican party sure wasn't for decades but only smooth-talking, let's meet halfway or completely cave to anything un-American.I don' know everything, so I cannot say "all." However, how a person behaves is of great importance, perhaps especially more so for a world leader. Trump could have avoided a lot of the backlash by behaving in a manner more becoming to his station in life, which is not to say there would have been none. There is no avoiding controversy for those who are so high profile, but he certainly went more than a little overboard in giving his enemies ammunition against him.
The Americans who voted for Trump was tired of the political talk. Say one thing but do another. President Trump does what he says. Of course, he isn't perfect and says things that trigger the media, but the media is triggered by just hearing his name. It would be no different. Hillary would not have fought for America or protected the religious. Biden sure won't. Thankfully I believe Trump has shown many Republicans how to have a spine of steel. And we will see more be will to fight in their local, state, and federal elections.
You said he alienates people. I do not see it in a negative sense. Maybe illegal aliens. Or radical anarchists. But other than that the liberal media tried to say he is racist which is a lie. Maybe he alienated the people of pro choice. Or the people who want to oppress religion. Either way, I'm happy with those alienations.
