In religion is Christianity or faith-based belief Vs Catechism worships of paganism if you edit the word or takeaway
We red\ad in Deuteronomy 4:2-3 (NKJV)
You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Your eyes have seen what the LORD did at Baal Peor; for the LORD your God has destroyed from among you all the men who followed Baal of Peor.

Can people break my heart?
Mark 6:10-11 (NKJV) Also He said to them, "In whatever place you enter a house, stay there till you depart from that place.
And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!"

Editing for clarification is not the same as adding or taking away.

Were that measure followed would we have a printed Bible today do you think? So many versions and not one copy of an original available for the public that loves the scriptures.

The original scriptures were written in scrolls in hebrew and greek so by your own words unless you are reading it in those languages you are doing just what you are saying here. The word of God is not limited by human language it is written on and speaks to our hearts

for me its Nelson NKJV STUDY BIBLE or the KING JAMES BIBLE but I also compare many books Greek language, or Hebrew language, and the original Aramaic language of Christ. It takes many hours of study
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Not to "put you down," just wondering how you compare your comment above to your comment in the original post you made? The NKJV and the King James are both "edited/translated" from the original Greek/Hebrew languages.............

I do not believe one is in error when one attempt to explain their opinions of what Scripture means.......

Now that I think about it and this is not to intentionally nit pick him but when he posted the verses and made the colors different that by definition was editing the scriptures and then by his own words doing the exact same thing he was speaking against. Maybe just translating would have been a better choice of words

Two entirely different topics. You will need to clearly explain what you are concerned about? There is editing for the sake of clarification and then there is corrupting for the sake of undermining the truth. Once again two different things. Also the Catholic Catechism in not necessarily paganism, but it is false teaching. So there are too many topics all jumbled together here.

Once again, in English? The only thing that makes sense in your post is the Scripture. Your words are in serious need of editing.

everything we try to do is root out the truth like Catechism or any other doctrine, editing is just taking out the truth to replace it from divine laws, Catechism to my knowledge, edit divine laws replace it with man's interpretation like our Constitution of the United States was to govern our nation, as with Bible is to govern our lives one nation under God, not one's interpretation, nor any other doctrine nor mines
to clarification, paganism is false teaching, but remember all things are debatable with there two or three there be the Holy One

Just study no one said anything about, an error and if there, is just correct by Scripture
Isaiah 28:10 (NKJV) For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little."

Hello :geek:
then follow the Scripture. help instead of insult, since Scripture you understand :cautious:
What does Scripture say about my English?

Luke 17:1"It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! Matt 18:6-7 Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!

Matt 18:5-6 "But whoever causes offense, one of these little ones (meaning, ones in Christ) who believe in Me to sin,
it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, :censored: and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. o_O
the offense is a sin :devilish:

Like that red/ad reference to Deuter's. It might be referring to the red heifer or maybe that's Leviticus. The talking donkey in Numbers makes more sense than that post.

If English is not your first language, that's fine. If it is, you didn't learn it very well. That's the simple but hard truth. I don't intend to insult, but as you say, offenses will come. I could not understand your opening post. It's meaningless to me. I am suggesting that you try rephrasing it to make it clear.

Are you asking if having a catechism / statement of beliefs is equal to paganism?
Because you consider it "adding to the scripture"?
