yes I actually read about that. You ask yourself why that would be and yet the Bible does speak of the falling away, itching ears etc

this 'system' controls and manipulates, two things the Holy Spirit NEVER does. it is very difficult to come out of deception. far better to avoid it all costs. people have the wrong idea if they think God would never allow them to be deceived.

never mind about the suicide thread. found it and not what I thought...there have been people who are suicidal though. that thread's a 'right mess' :confused:
 
John 15: 18-19 according to John Calvin...

If the elect hate you, who are the elect, ye know that the elect hated me before the elect hated you who are elect.

If ye elect were of the elect, the elect would love his own elect: but because ye elect are not of the elect, but I have chosen you elect

out of the elect, therefore the elect hateth you elect who are elect.

If a person gets into deception........how can a true born again be deceived....?.......they can’t.....so disagree with your post.

Who ever the Father gives to the Son...no one can take them from him...anyone who can be easily deceived..I question their belief.

No man has ever deceived me with their teachings.

God spoke directly to Adam and Eve yet even they were deceived.

If that isn’t God’s word....then it doesn’t stand.....poof and it’s gone..only God’s word stands....

Indeed deception can be subtle and agree very difficult to come out of, I at one time through reading books by Calvinists without realizing adopted some of their ideas, they are very good at intellectualizing.

While they say they are the doctrine of grace ... far from it.

.... Calvinism is built on control, the founder being a prime example.

I’m not talking about Adam and Eve....I’m talking about a true born again.....no one can deceive them....no one...you should know that.

No one can take away what the Father gives to Jesus.

True, but from your posts you agree with the "doctrine of election" as in a certain group are saved by God by His irresistible grace and

others are left with no hope, correct?

A true born again can never be deceived.....they recognise the signs.....God dwells in their spirit....he is there watching over his children.

So disagree with your post.

I agree with irresistible grace..by my own experience....I don’t know how others are saved......only God knows that.
No hope..how would I know that?..if Calvin teaches no hope for others I disagree..because Calvin wouldn’t know that.

Paul wrote to the Galatians very specifically all about their being deceived.

No,I don’t disagree with scripture......who ever the Father gives to Jesus..no one can take them away from him.....not a true child of Christ...that is also scriptural.......a true born again can never be led astray...my belief.

The doctrine of "irresistible grace" is a doctrine of no hope for others.

Perhaps you should find out what @preacher4truth really believes.

I am not speaking to loss of salvation, I am speaking about being deceived, two different things.
