You’re a follower of calvin’s followers. And believe me, it shows in your bad fruit.

You can tell a “true follower “ by their fruit.

I don’t follow anyone only the Lord.

Again an assumption....zzzzzz......drinking comes to mind...either spirit or beer.

Boring and openly dishonest. But then again, it’s just more of your bad fruit.

But you haven’t left it there have you.

Just another antagonising post....that you post to those that don’t agree with you.
I like to be honest that is all, and you yourself admitted it.
How many times did I reach out to you to give guidance as well as others and typically you responded to that guidance as though it was done in malice.

In my honesty I could not deny that you have indeed given your testimony.

You really should have just said "thank you" ... but you see, you put yourself in a very antagonist place over and over again.

I need to refresh my spirit after that waste of time that I am sorry I partook of.

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phil. 4:8

as Paul put it:

14... for this reason I bow my knees before the Father,d 15from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16I ask that out of the riches of His glory He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18will have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth 19of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20Now to Him who is able to do so much more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, 21to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Ephesians 3

These things give peace to my soul and assurance to my spirit.

Here's another good example from Calvin's commentaries. He is himself affirming that God refutes his theology:

John 12:47: And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
CALVIN'S COMMENTARY: SALVATION IS FOR ALL
47. If any man hear my words. After having spoken concerning his grace, and exhorted his disciples to steady faith, he now begins to strike the rebellious, though even here he mitigates the severity due to the wickedness of those who deliberately -- as it were -- reject God; for he delays to pronounce judgment on them, because, on the contrary, he has come for the salvation of all.

In the first place, we ought to understand that he does not speak here of all unbelievers without distinction, but of those who, knowingly and willingly, reject the doctrine of the Gospel which has been exhibited to them. Why then does Christ not choose to condemn them? It is because he lays aside for a time the office of a judge, and offers salvation to all without reserve, and stretches out his arms to embrace all, that all may be the more encouraged to repent.

And yet there is a circumstance of no small moment, by which he points out the aggravation of the crime, if they reject an invitation so kind and gracious, for it is as if he had said, "Lo, I am here to invite all, and, forgetting the character of a judge, I have this as my single object, to persuade all, and to rescue from destruction those who are already twice ruined." No man, therefore, is condemned on account of having despised the Gospel, except he who, disdaining the lovely message of salvation, has chosen of his own accord to draw down destruction on himself.
You are right, this commentary clearly refutes the idea of "Limited atonement"

Interesting, but may I point out Calvin isnt teh only calvinist commentator who does similar blunders. Almost everyone of the biblehub commentaries (like John Gill etc) do this same mistake.

I suspect the calvinists will find a way to wiggle out of this by saying that Calvin here means a "general call" instead of the "effectual call" but that will not work because the "general call" is really no call at all, salvation is not REALLY offered to anyone, since Jesus didnt die for them in the Limited atonement sense.

This is why im not a calvinist, too much philosophy involved, and too many Scriptures ignored.

I undo autocorrect with the same enthusiasm that calvinists undo Scripture. 😊

Here's a funny one.

Guy is busy writing away and all of a sudden he comes across a word he wants to use but cannot remember how to spell it. So he types out how he thinks it goes, believing that auto correct will come to his aid.

Auto-correct comes back with 'I ain't got nuthin for that.' :giggle:

Read John 3 prayerfully. If you have difficulty understanding then I will explain it.

No disrespect..you would be the last person I would ask to explain it to me......nothing to do with my fruit..just being honest.

If I didn’t understand it..I would ask preacher.or Nov 25..in a private pm...

Your guidance doesn’t sit right in my spirit...I’m not being offensive..just honest......my faith in God sustains me....there is something not right about you...I have been praying to the Lord..what it is....
