It is hilarious to me, how the main peddler of Mr. Calvin's dogma on this site constantly tells everyone how smart he is, how right he is and how stupid and or unlearned everyone else is in scripture......Reminds me of all of the cult leaders from the past.....only they are enlightened and everyone else must lay at their feet to learn the truth only he has seen....rather sickening to be honest.

That's what I thought . I think it is because we hear of Calvin and TULIP exclusively. No sub-text or precursor, just Calvin and TULIP are conflated as one having created the other.

I don't think that is necessarily the fault of the reader either. I didn't know that until I went digging. I also learned that not all who call themself Calvinist believe in point # 5, These are called 4 point Calvinism apparently.

It's patently false and borne in unfamiliarity.

The truth of the matter is decisional regeneration, free will choosing ones self into heaven, meriting salvation because God saw a person would choose are all unbiblical doctrines that came from Charles Finney, Jacobus Arminius aka Jakob Hermanszoon, and Robert Sandeman. Their teachings are not representative of the biblical gospel. Unbeknownst to several on here they are following these mens false teachings.

Awesome advice. In all honesty though, I could call a few out, especially one post where a poster, not mentioning any names, seemed to passively aggressively, put links to another poster's posts but I won't because I would be instigating the situation.
