It seems quite relative to my perspective. I’m sure you are as entrenched In your view as I in mine. For Jesus to elevate the faith of a Military commander of a foreign country publicly says much. Also in Acts, the faithful witness of another centurion is spoken of. How can it be that two men that are trained killers and leaders of 100 more trained in warfare occupy such prominence in Scripture? The premise for personal defense cannot be far away.

Well, I do not need a self proclaimed authority to explain anything to me.
All you will do is to continue to put out your opinions based on your own interpretation of Scripture.
While you do seem to understand a few things, for the most part you are very wrong on what and when and who will transpire in the end times.
What saddens me is that you have deceived yourself to the extent that you will never listen to others as we try to set you straight.
I really hope that your only audience in on this sight. I would hate to think that you teach others in a local church., but
I don't mean to offend but I will continue to show my disagreement with the things you post that I disagree with.
No need to explain why because you will not listen.
All you will do is to continue to put out your opinions based on your own interpretation of Scripture.

When we read prophecy in order to find out the exact way that the Lord will fulfill it instead of that these things will happen we are doing what the Pharisees did about the coming of the Messiah. The Lord has never explained His method of bringing about His prophecy. We are told the end is coming and to have faith in that we will be taken care of and protected. That is the message of truth the Lord is giving us, we will be able to recognize His method of bring this about if we watch for it.

We are in the last days, the end time, for God is ready to end sin on earth, but He will not give up on the world until the world gives up on Him, so He is allowing the world to have their way for 7 years, and rebel against Him, and then He will end sin on earth.
1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

The new age movement interpretation of the Bible based on the occult, and evolution, and people are still evolving to be greater and spiritual provided by the New Age Christ, beast.
They will forbid to marry for a man and a woman for population reduction, and command to abstain from meats, reverence of nature, mother earth.
Since they view the Bible, religions, and reality differently things will change because of that.
They took prayer out of school and taught evolution, and believe science confirms evolution.
The new age movement will pave the way to the beast kingdom in Revelation 13.

The time will come when the world will not want to endure the truth of the Bible, but want to hear the Bible according to their own lusts, evolving through nature, and there is no personal God above them, which God said they will say, I am and no one else beside me.
The New Age Christ will establish peace in the Middle East, and push the agenda of the new age movement to prepare the world for when he claims to be God.

Sustainability development, ecology, economy, social, ban the police, communities work to stop crime in the communities, and people watch the street, and watch their neighbor.

Target date, 2030, for all nations to be compatible with Agenda 21 to come together for a global government, which will be a balance between democracy and socialism, and they all have the same government format, and all people are equal with no dissension between government and government, people and people, and government and people.
America has to change to a new form of government that is a balance between democracy and socialism for they are going along with Agenda 21 and a global government.
Which President Trump said that America has laid a path of peace and security in the world, and wants the nations to thrive next to each other, and wants the nations to step it up and work for peace on earth.
Controlled conflict brings about controlled change.
It appears that America wants the protests and riots to push equality, and to ban the police, and they want the division and to cause it to get out of hand so that they can go to a new form of government and say they have to do that for the peace and safety of the nation, and to stop the fighting between Right Wing and Left Wing, and have a government where there is no more Republican and Democrat party but they are one with no division, and bring the people together in equality.
That means Republican and Democrat would be working together and Democrats pushing socialism more, and Republicans pushing democracy more, and wanting that to appear that way to the people so they can have a balance between the 2.
And they are kicking up the fighting among the 2 parties, so that the people will kick it up in fighting with each other over Right Wing and Left Wing.
For they need the conflicts, chaos, and division according to their plan, but I do not know how far they will allow it to go on, but they will probably wait until after the election and Trump wins for then they will really go bonkers and then eventually they will put a stop to it.
They might want the division among the people to escalate in to a war but I do not know.
You do not elect the President in this point in time for they are working together now to go to a new form of government, and Trump winning the election would be the chaos they need to put down the fighting down.

From what I have read, much of Revelation was written in a "code" known only to the Jews at that time to prevent the Roman Government from knowing what was being written/recorded in the Book of Revelation.
If this is true, then I do not see how anything other than speculation can be used to "decode" those parts of the Book of Revelation, and that concerns me because of this verse in Revelation:
22:18) For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
22:19) And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book.
One person said they were not leaning on their own understanding, but I believe anyone who engages in attempting to decipher the coded language in Revelation are playing a dangerous game.
Yes, there are parts of Revelation that do not require decoding, and studying those parts is wonderful information to receive from the Book. But, past that, and diving into the coded parts is risking eternal damnation I believe. Verses 18 and 19 of Chapter 22 make this quite clear.

While it is true that to understand the book of Revelation takes study, it is not coded as some have taught. The very first verse tells the reader its purpose:
"This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants the things which must come to pass in quickness."
The "things which must come to pass" are the events of wrath via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments and all related information. If it was coded, then no one could know what it was saying?
