Not peaceful. Have you heard the interviews of the couple, plus the videos of the crowd, and the broken gate while being on private property.
The video I saw has a few peaceful people walking down the road in front of a house.

What does that have to do with the situation and 2nd Amendment rights? If true, it only shows she needs better training.
Is the woman part of a regulated militia? Because that is what the Second Amendment is about.

There is no indication that there were any threats, except the threat to her husband by her pointing a gun at his head. She is handling her pistol in a dangerous manner, period.

If you're afraid, stay inside and call the police. That is the appropriate thing to do in a society governed by laws.
I live 18 miles from the nearest sheriff office, so it could take half an hour or more for them to arrive.

If they break down a locked gate with warning signs, I am in danger.
But so are they.
I will not allow them to destroy my property nor harm me or my family.
The warning sings on my gate say so.

I have a locked gate on my driveway with multiple warning signs.
If anyone breaks down the gate they are not peaceful demonstrators. They are thugs.
What do you suggest I do if that happens?
Exactly, the Thugs were on a private street , and they broke down the private gate of the couple that had no trespassing signs.

(Stand Your Ground) is law in Missouri, and that's exactly what the McCloskey's did, two thumbs way up!

St. Louis Couple Point Guns at Protesters Headed to Mayor's House

Police said the couple had heard a loud commotion in the street and saw a large group of people break an iron gate marked with “No Trespassing” and “Private Street” signs.

Police said the man and woman told the marchers to leave because they were on a private street. But people in the crowd yelled obscenities and threats, police said. The man and woman said they saw people who were armed, so they armed themselves and called police, according to authorities.

I would assume that anyone foolish enough to break down a locked gate would probable be armed and dangerous.
To assume otherwise would place you in danger.

No charges were brought against them. Police said they were still investigating but labeled it a case of trespassing and assault by intimidation against the couple by protesters.

I am afraid the time is coming that if you are not ready and willing to defend your property and even your life, you may very well lose both.

If so then that is abuse of power. She should be forced to resign or voted out if they are elected.
If I understand correctly she's up for reelection this year. She was funded by soros.

Please, please don't hurt their feelings!!!!!

Seriously though, check the self defense laws currently in effect in your state. They vary considerably

After they unlawfully destroyed a locked gate.
Where did you see that? It wasn't in any footage that I saw. BTW, I doubt that it happened the way that you say it did.

I trust in God. Don't you? Or have you decided to take the law into your own hands and risk prison time?

Right. Unless you live in New York, DC, LA, Minneapolis or any other Democratic run city. Police are told to stand down. That, is not the appropriate thing to do and all these airhead mayors should stand down.

You appear to have a hard time dealing with the truth.

Maybe ask yourself, how many Christians have ended up as martyrs while praying for God to save them from their attackers.

This article from yesterday supports what has been said about a private gated street.
https://www.redstate.com/nick-arama...acks-them-but-they-do-get-some-surprise-help/
As attorney Harmeet K. Dhillon explained, “Missouri is a Castle Doctrine state, permitted among the broadest latitudes of any state in using even deadly force to protect yourself or your property. This couple used NO force, despite the imminent threat from a trespassing mob. The seizure of weapons is government overreach.”
The protesters not only broke a gate in the incident, they went on the private street and were also on the lawn of the couple. According to Mark McCloskey, they also threatened the couple.
Because the couple dared to defend themselves, about 300 protesters then came back on Friday, screaming and harassing the couple again. This time, the McCloskeys had private security backing them up on their balcony.

Is it?
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
