We just have to apply it, but it is useful to hear both sides of the coin.
I would agree it is useful to hear and learn about the opposite side.... you will learn a lot and you will learn to defend your own position better.

This is not to say there is more than one truth... there is only ONE truth, we however, as born again fallen beings will not always discern truth perfectly.

lol

sorry, maybe that was confusing. i just had noticed quite a few ppl banned lately. it doesn't seem Christian like to ban ppl, you know?
A lot of websites have terms and conditions that people agree to when they join, and Christian Chat is no different that way. This site is owned by a person who has made a lot of allowances for Christians to fellowship with each other, but they do not like it when people repeatedly break the rules. It is a Biblical principle to adhere to governing powers. One of the rules is that if you get banned, you are not supposed to join again under a new user name and pretend you are a different person, which is a deception and again not adhering to Christian principles. Flying under the radar hoping nobody recognizes you because you have knowingly broken the rules? Nope, not a Christian principle. Coming back again and again because you harbor resentments against people and want to stalk and harass them? Nope, not a Christian principle. I do not know how many websites you have been a member on, but certain behaviors are not allowed on quite a few of them. Thinking Christian Chat should be different seems more than a bit naive, perhaps. Personally, I appreciate what the mods and owners do in trying to keep this site a safe place for everyone who is here in good faith.

I have never been banned.

And better things to do in life than to spend time stalking anyone.

And if travels bans ever get lifted somewhere with no internet would be great!!

I have never been banned, either, but I am sure many of us know of a least one or two (if not a few) people who have been, then come back again and again. That is quite different than the person who decides to have their account disabled/deleted and then rejoins under a new name. That is allowed, even if it does seem a bit sneaky, especially when they do it again and again. Someone was stalking me in my first year here who was banned at east six times, and kept coming back under new user names; some of his false aliases were female, so that mean he could go into the Ladies Forum, too. We also get people who come here just to argue against Christianity, or troll, and that is against the rules as well. There are a lot of legitimate reasons to ban people. Being Christian does not change that fact :)

The one Truth, one Gospel, is not obscure and vague in scripture.

We can find a variety of ways to make excuses for error.

If we however desire truth we do the work that that involves.
Yes you can seek truth for yourself, and at the same time, be gracious when you encounter others who are at a different stage in their life from yours correct?

Being stalked is horrible.

I have had that happen to me twice in real life. Not easy to get over it.

Amen!!...agree completely..it’s being gracious..something I am learning from the Lord....it’s really wonderful when we can humble ourselves....but we need to ask God to help us be more like Jesus.
Do you agree ?

In life you can only control how you respond. What others do with their lives is none of your business
Once again you do not answer the question.

Plus that whole "none of your business" spiel is contradictory, and un-Biblical.

I believe as a Christian however we see how another person/Christian lives that is also none of my business.

How ever if I was close to them,,,I believe I would try and advise if I thought they were doing something that could harm them.

I have a close friend who advises me in difficult situations....which I very much appreciate....

I am trying to advise my son in an area...but ask God for help as I can sometimes be a bit forceful.

If you really believe what you say, why are you even questioning others?

Or attempting to tell anyone else how they should behave?

According to you, it is none of your business.

@Guojing

If you read his post he is saying.

What they do with their “lives”....I also see your point.
