[38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Does not mention what YOU could do to be separated.

They are treating the other person as a victim, as if they do not have the same free will to come here every day, day after day, week after week, that he (is it a he?) said he exercises every day of his life. Reading one morning's posts cannot in any way give anywhere near a full picture of how the other person has continually proven them self untrustworthy, repeatedly claiming they are going to do something but then repeatedly reneging on that, constantly proclaiming their confusion, bending this way and that, being unfounded, freely expressing their opinion while wanting to silence others, and then telling others that those others are "lost" simply because they cannot grasp what others say. He said the other person was wrong on one matter of context, while it encompasses far more than that...
Why did you feel chastised? My words are nothing that I could ever make you feel that way. I did suggest another way to approach that poster and that poster confessed. I got the response you could not. How does that make me the bad person?
Look, everyone is approaching the topic as defending the truth.
Accusing those on the opposite side of the debate as the tares is not good. Just present your proof text (preferably keeping the commentary to a minimum) and let it stand.
I’ve always considered that that verse does not state our stupidity can not separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus, however I lean on the side of grace and figure it’s a gimme.Much appreciated. Respect and love back at ya.

It’s more than that, brother. Look at the last 10 pages and the juvenile, unchristian antics of one who claims to be pouring out the Fruit of the Spirit yet does nothing more than put forth antagonizing emojis on people’s posts whom she does not like. If she’s not a tare, she’s definitely acting like one, and her actions are not glorifying to God.
Paul obviously said this referring to his past persecution of Christians. Not his current state with the Lord.

There is absolutely nothing any human being can do to separate what God has done.

When I said understand, I mean "understand why, if you put yourself in their shoes and adopt their perspective, what they are saying can be true from their point of view".

A tare, in my opinion, would be one who denies/blasphemes Christ, God, the Bible, and so on. Someone who promotes evil freely.
Along those lines.
