Bill.Once Saved Always Saved is not biblical..the words aren’t in the bible.
Osas....doesn’t sound good to me.....it’s sounds like you can do what ever you please...you can’t..just my opinion........you shall know them by their fruit.......
Eternal life ,yes....it’s biblical.....
Ok.
What makes you think OSAS is a license to sin?
As a person who believed in NOSAS and came over to OSAS my walk with Jesus has been better (still have struggles)
Now as a believer in NOSAS then I obviously believed that I could lose my salvation based on what I did or did not do. This type of believe sets bars that cannot be kept.
So I tried my best not to sin, I did not want to sin but feared the 3 strikes and your out.
So when I came to the OSAS always camp my position concerning sin did not change.
I did not come to believe in OSAS as an excuse to sin but I did my homework.
My position in Jesus and my security in him changed.
As a result my struggle with sin based on my own efforts was replaced with the grace of God and the Holy Spirit working in me to overcome sin.
So where did you get or the feeling that it sounds like you can do all you want and still be saved.
Such a view is an abomination and Paul addressed this in Romans 5-7
So OSAS is biblical but unfortunately it's interpretation may not be in false teachers hands.
Personally I would go with ES based on Bible knowledge to counteract those who accuse of using OSAS as a license to sin even when you tell them that you do not believe that but still bang on about it.
