It is wrong
Adam chose to sin
if he had No choice he would never have been able to sin
The fact he chose proves he had a free will choice to obey or disobay
Some think men have a lot of power (while being spiritually dead in sin and incapable) and with it have the ability to choose themselves out of and into the grace of God at will. Jesus says man is not able; John 6:44, John 6:65.
AMEN!!
He is stating people Like I think we have power To do things he is misrepresenting what we believe shallI don’t see any offence in preacher post..he was quoting my post about being controlled.

No one here thinks anything like thisThe decisional regeneration error stems from the teachings of Charles Grandison Finney.
He taught that salvation was achieved no differently than choosing which career to follow. I've heard preachers teach similar things, not aware their teachings were influenced from hand me down Finney errors. They would teach faith is like when you sit in an chair, or cross a bridge. Nope. That's normal carnal trust, faith is a supernatural gift of God.
Many Princeton theologians among others lamented his teachings, claiming it made false converts. He also lied his way into ministry.
Note Jude speaks of false teachers "creeping in unawares." That is exactly what he did.
I heard, but am not certain, but hope it's true that Finney repented of his error late in life.
You may know I disagree with the free will verbiage... since our will is constrained in many ways, by factors too plenteous to enumerate, some of which are unknown to us. However, God's will and self will are plainly laid out throughout the whole of Scripture. The point concerning choice is whether we choose to align with God's will, or choose to oppose God's will. Adam clearly chose to oppose God's will, and God not only allowed Adam and Eve to make that choice, He had made provision for it from before the foundation of the world. How any Christian could argue against that is perplexing. It is wrong

Jesus says man is not able; John 6:44, John 6:65.
Keep in mind ability and power are the same things, and are synonymous. People believe they have the power and ability to come to God via their will.
I've proven this untrue with Scripture, and that is all that matters.![]()

God’s authority is not because He loves. It’s not because He earns or deserves it by virtue of his great love. No higher power grants Him authority recognizing his love. He has authority because He created all life.
Secondly, there are and have been thousands of people in human history who KNEW KEENLY the love of God and still cried “unjust” when they saw injustice. So that’s not true either.
Thirdly no one in the Bible or human history that we know of tried to manipulate God to save them in any way. Your understanding of pride is incorrect. Pride thinks highly of the self in some aspect. It elevates itself above others in its own view.
Fourth, if you’re going to attempt a salvation message, you need to tell people to repent, not “let God save you.” No one in the Bible ever preached that.

Exactly, that’s why we are looking out for you because we don’t want you to be led astray. Be prayerful; God will give you the answers. What ever their theology..if it’s not biblical then it’s false....same as any other man made religion...you can’t use the bible to say what you want it to say..( not you personally) I’m talking man made religion.
Jesus said all the drawn come to him, and he will raise them on the last day. John 6:44. That text also proves eternal security in addition to all that are drawn will be saved.God can draw you.
But you have the choice of not responding to that call from God.
Is this not correct?
And did not Jesus say that he would draw all men unto him?
But not all respond to the call.
Thoughts?
Jesus said all the drawn come to him, and he will raise them on the last day. John 6:44.
Did Adam know what sin was?....I see it so different from you and others bro....Adam was given a command God Never gave him a choice.he chose to go against the command
Anyway bro..I have no more to say on this....leave you to it.....
You have completely changed the subject.
Show me where I said what you said I said?.
You accused me falsely.....otherwise you show me where I said what you said I said.
In a word “You Can’t”
