She is not arguing..she is trying to find truth..which for some reason don’t like...because I’m not understanding you.

I will go back but I saw no one is state they were given a choice.

However, they did have choice.

There is a huge difference in these two statements.

Scroll back you will find it between EG and I.....I question choice that he said Adam and Eve had...there is nothing scriptural to support that they had a choice...only a command.

Not sure what the point is, we all agree they were not given a choice "to eat or not eat" the forbidden fruit, they were given a command.

They chose to disobey. Quite simple.

As a child when your dad give you a command. Did you or did you not know you has two Choices

1 obey and be blessed
2 disobay and suffer the consequences
 
The pretense is, that if it is not specifically and explicitly articulated in Scripture, it is not true, which is is a false equivalence.

Atheists and other non-believers make the same type of arguments.

That is not what she is stating.

What she is stating is that God did not give them a choice with regards to the fruit.

God did not say.... You have a choice here on this fruit.. that is her point.

Everyone knows that is not in scripture so not even sure why are discussing it really.

Adam knew that when he took and sinned.. He did not do it in ignorance

As a young child no I never knew what a choice was......neither did I know what consequences were.
I never knew what choice was until well into adulthood..because I was controlled by parents and thought it was normal....

I already told her that was true
but that is not the point if my original argument that Adam and Eve had a choice

then you had an experience no child I ever met had

My dad tile me flat out. If your not home by ten you will be grounded for a week.
I had a choice. Obey and be free. Disobey and be grounded
 
My point is did God explain to Adam that he had a choice.....did he tell him if he disobeyed there would be consequences?
