Aliens are actually demonic spirits merely pretending to be extraterrestrials?

Alien Intrusion: Unmasking a Deception
The popular view is that these are advanced aliens visiting us from far away, but this compelling new documentary takes a deeper look at the events, the beliefs, the experts and the people who have shaped our views in the otherworldly. When one examines this phenomenon, one of the most disturbing but powerful affirmations of the spiritual realm, Christianity and the Bible becomes clearer. This documentary seeks to solve one of the most haunting and persistent mysteries of our time by addressing UFO sightings in every country, things seen on radar, what happened at Roswell, alien abductions, government cover-ups, and even a new religion.

Documentary aliens are really demons?

I dont 100% agree with statements and views expressed in this flim but its an interesting take. Witness reports that "believe it is connected to the spiritual worlds" are the backbone of the second half. The claim that these were "demonic entities" is mostly supported by witnesses who allegedly scared the fake aliens off by mentioning the name Jesus and pastors that quote the Bible. I would have assumed to include some references to the "trickster phenomene" but it was not addressed. Probably because it did not fit to the "Christian spin" the producers tried so hard to communicate. They also conveniently left out the fact, that Pope Francis has no problems with aliens and their existence.

Overall and interesting premise that brought little for me to the table in 100 minutes runtime. Target audience seems to be Christians that only vaguely heard about UFOs and promotion to get them closer to the flock.

then you have other Christian groups such as Russian Orthodox Church equates aliens with demons

MOSCOW. April 20 2020 (Interfax) - The Russian Orthodox Church has refused to recognize the existence of other civilizations outside Earth.

"If civilizations really existed on other planets, our Holy Scripture, the Bible, would definitely say something about that. If it doesn't say anything about it, we assume that they don't exist," head of the external church relations department of the Moscow Patriarchate Metropolitan Hilarion said on the Rossiya-24 television channel.

The Vatican's Take on Aliens?
FATHER JOSE GABRIEL FUNES, CHIEF VATICAN ASTRONOMER, In a universe so big, huge I would say, as the one where we live with 100 billion of galaxies, each galaxy with a hundred billion stars probably with many of these stars having planets, it could be possible that life could evolve as they way we know on earth." Father Funes says he is not sure if other forms of life would be more or less intelligent than humans, but he is convinced that the existence of Aliens is not a contradiction with the Catholic faith. There has been no word from top vatican officials about Funes' comments, but some people on the street find them odd

Is it a common held belief amoungs christians that UFOS, Aliens etc are the work of demons and devils?

A "father" in the catholic church spouting evolution? Not very Biblical.
Seems there is a spiritual element in these last of the last days, and scripture tells us of a great end times deception, which this appears to be a part of.

I have been watching quite a few documentary series lately, and saw one listed on Netflix recently that sounded interesting: Real cases of perplexing disappearances, shocking murders and paranormal encounters fuel his gripping revival of the iconic documentary series. When I heard alien abductions mentioned in the video excerpt? o_O I will take a pass on that

I was led to this video and want to share it with you all, it. It lines up with other Bible based teachings on this subject. The devil is pulling out all stops to deceive people in these last of the last days.

Yeah. This is a common belief amongst Christians, and has been so for about 20 years or more. The theory nicely fits what scripture says about creation with the witness accounts of "aliens", and relates the similarities between accounts of these encounters with "aliens" and the accounts of encounters with demons of old.

I think the realisation that "aliens" are demons is the most logical conclusion for Christians to take on this subject.

If we rely on our own understanding we can be deceived, hence the instruction to take everything to Him and He will guide us and make our path straight, with most Christians today having an "outward form of godliness" and not relationship, they can be easily deceived, His Own in relationship will be given His truth.

Lots of out of this world speculation going on here!!

I prefer to focus on that which is pure, noble, true, lovely, praiseworthy, and so on. He has given us so much light to gaze upon.

I will keep the Lord before me...Because He is at my right hand...
My heart is glad, my glory rejoiceth, and my flesh also rests in hope.

Lord, I pray you help us all, may the meditations of our hearts and minds be pleasing to You. Your revealing far outweighs the darkness!!!

You bring out the best in all you have contact with, if I appear to be gracious, it is your reflection of the indwelling Jesus that you project. Bless you sister:)

I too love the “Light”, and stay in it as best I can. However, there is also “Dark” and the Lord has equipped us with armour to face it. To defeat the enemy, one must know the enemy. Granted the battle is the Lord’s, but as His Body some of us may be called to rally against the darkness, so others may sleep peacefully.

hmmm... Jesus knows the enemy, we must focus on Jesus and stay "hidden" in Him to defeat the enemy, I believe that is what precious sister CharliRenee means. Other wise we err in leaning on our own understanding. We may be meaning the same thing and saying it differently...

I agree... praying to Him about the darkness is very important, but we are called to focus on Him, His light and His word, for He is always the way. We are not called to stare and ponder about the darkness, but with all prayer and supplication give it all to Him.

I couldn't agree more!!!! This is exactly what I was trying to convey.. I do think we are maybe saying the same thing just saying it different. I do not know.

I believe these beings are evil. I havn't seen one report of them giving the observers a happy time' or anything beneficial for that matter. I'm not one of those who think its all a hoax too many trustworthy people have reported them. I think many of the worlds governments know about them and have regular contact. Whether they actually know where they come from and what they are is
open to question. They could be as deceived as the rest of the world especially if they can produce ground breaking technology and
other innovations that are useful.

CharliRenee shared something about keeping focused rightly, this teaching from Bill Johnson brought it to mind how we can be turned from this by reacting to darkness when we were given the assignment to carry His presence into the world, (as she always does), thank you sister!
