It’s a father son relationship

even if the son leaves he is still the son,,he does not stop being his fathers son just because he leaves,
Sons can die and are then dead sons. When the prodigal left, the Father did nothing at all but respected his choice.

I have wandered off for a long time....but God Never left me.........my life had a void but I always knew he was still with me....just waiting for me to come back to him.....which I did....it was a lesson well learnt..
There are many who refuse to come back to him for reasons Jesus said happens.

One last time

the whole book is about law

if you can’t see that I can’t help you

It does not matter, just like this includes what I have obviously made clear, there is also the Hall of Fame Saints, there is a portion on how Christ connects to Melchizedek, and there are a couple other things within the Book of Hebrews.

So to say, Hebrews is nothing but the Law means either you have NO CLUE about Hebrew, or just the portions of Hebrew you have read pertained to the Law. Either way, your statement is horrifically WRONG!

Confirmation bias... we all have confirmation bias... the point I was making to look beyond that... we all have to do that.

Scripture is clear OSAS is what it teaches.
You are using your experience to confirm NOSAS... you need to let scripture stand on its own apart from preconceived ideas and biases.
Scripture clearly teaches choose whom you will serve. It clearly teaches we can change our minds because of external and internal pressures. It clearly teaches we ourselves must take care in our relationships including that with God to the degree we can. Scripture clearly teaches conditional promises from God.

Now one can hold a faith that doesn’t match real life. Or one can search for the truth, find that one is free from the doubts other positions have and can ask and receive every true question with confidence and peace. The biblical view that matches real life is rock solid and deeply rewarding. I’ll give an example.

If you are in a christian group for a long time, you will know people who are devoted in their faith as you are, maybe more devoted, who after some hardships or disappointments leave the faith. They say they used to believe but don’t today.

Now ES or OSAS have a complex answer for that which doesn’t match real life. None will apply that answer to themselves. But if you simply believe that they changed their minds because of trouble or the pleasures of sin as Jesus said happens, it’s easy. And one realizes one needs to take heed lest one fall onself. Good fruit. (Taking heed means continue in Bible reading, prayer, fellowship and responding to the Holy Spirit which not even EH says are “works.”)

Of course not... why do you ask me that?
So you believe you can walk away (lose) salvation? Or do you believe a saved person just WONT live like they shouldn’t which begs the question if they do after a time, we’re they never really saved? Is that too convoluted?

For OSAS or ES it’s tough. You guys have to explain a lot. If one continues to see free will as always there, even after salvation, the. it’s easier. Just like in any relationship, one has a part to play.

I do not agree that a true born again will refuse to come back to the Lord.
As I have posted many times....which you seem to ignore......why is that?

Who ever the Father gives to the Son....he will never lose them!

What is wrong with you......shall I post the scripture regarding this?

You never acknowledge truth..........!

Did you also miss the scripture that says, whoever the Father gives to the Son,they will never be plucked from him.

Are you blind to that truth?

I shall give them eternal life and they shall never perish.....are you blind to that scripture DorothyMae.

I think you need to study more.....you have so much to learn as have I.

I’m fed up with you twisting my posts and scripture...to suit your own agenda.

Reading the post of dc is troubling. He is way out of control of himself. But did I go running to report him for his slander and lies? No. Let him keep doing it, they know what I think about it under ignore and that is good enough for me.
I’ve noticed they are after you, like when the Care Bears circle around. Uh oh! You’re going to get the “Care Bear Stare”, bruh.

But it ain’t love they’re “staring” at you, bruh.

I'm still waiting for you to answer:

When you had me on ignore, you were busy slinging insults and callow name calling at me.

Right? Do you realize how very callow that is? In fact I called you on it publicly. Own up. Why not admit and answer what I said you've done. Own it, and be a man. You were doing that, right? We weren't even in dialog, but you were still doing it, right? Right? It was callow too, correct? Answer that like a man.

Now to your accusations:

Slander? Really? Do you know what the meaning of that is? It means to make lies about a person. Now, give me some proof of the accusation or put an end to it. Deal?

I mean, actually offer some proof, not just another one of your posts accusing without evidence. Since my slander is "so deep" it should be very easy to prove it. Prove it.

I considered taking the high road, and not post your words. Don't push me, I'm trying to be Christian about it, and not prove you wrong. OK?

Now, I do have your quotes that prove:

1) I am not lying as you've stated.

2) That you do in fact teach what I said. That's why I kept posting your teachings, and finally got you to deny it as I had thought you would.

There was and is no reason for me to lie about what you teach. Why would I? My attempt is to get you to see your teachings equal merited favor.

By the way, you've falsely accused me of being chosen because I think I'm special, so that's why I am elected. That's an asinine accusation and is of course baseless.

I don't teach that. I've given you biblical answers proving it, and I adhere to unconditional election, which is further proof. Yet you overlook all that and don't have any decency to accept the fact I do not believe what you say I believe.

The very text of 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 proves and states my position, which I got from Scripture. There is no reason for God to choose anyone, other than his own purpose, counsel and will. I didn't merit it, as in your teaching, because God saw I'd choose. But of course you overlooked all the Biblical reasons I gave for my position, and instead of accepting hat came right back accusing, insulting, lying about my beliefs, putting words in my mouth.

Right? Isn't that what you did? Of course it is. Own it and man up.

More insults. I've offered none. You're correct, I am a nobody. The thing is that kind of behavior is what it is and I called you on it.

I sit here and scream? Wow. LOL!

Of course I called out DC. What I said is true, and, well, he is proving it is still true.

Once again: Provide the evidence I do all these things. All you are doing is repeating unsubstantiated accusations, over, and over, and over. Provide the proof.

Yes, I was put on time out for calling out your behavior and the behavior of DC. That doesn't mean what I said was untrue, it just means they put me in time out, and to me totally worth it. I assumed a price may have to be paid, but I wanted to call out your behavior nonetheless.

Why put you on ignore? I want to see what you say and teach.
Duuuuude. If you are trying to try to prove something with another person's quotes, you need to include the actual quotes, not just text in quote boxes that do not/will not return the reader to the original posts.

And Jesus fulfilled the Law.
Amen EH! He did fulfill it, He did not destroy it...

Mat_5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

to fulfil, i.e. to cause God's will (as made known in the law) to be obeyed as it should be, and God's promises (given through the prophets) to receive fulfilment

:)

Now the dilemma is, if it wasn't destroyed what should we do with it now? Just asking, putting it out there :)
