Yes it happens. There are such things as LIFE PRESERVERS whereby one throws the ring to the drowning person to pull them to safety if one can not safely enter and leave the water. I did Red Cross Life Guard training and there are also other apparatus devises whereby the person needs to exercise themselves to be saved.

Surprised you never heard of a life preserver.

It says IF we share in his sufferings. That’s a conditional promise meaning we must DO something for our part. OSAS always skips the conditions required to receive the promise.

I didn’t write that verse. If you don’t like it you need to take it up with God. Remind Him that you don’t need to suffer or do anything close to w o r k. No praying cause that’s work. No reading the Bible cause reading is work. No loving God or man cause that is a lot of work.
