I am curious. What is your specific definition of "JESUS CHRIST's SPIRITUAL BODY"? (Scripture would be helpful in your explanation)

Aside: My definition is limited to: 'it is not a physical body'.
Even though you cannot stand the heat in the kitchen and have me on ignore, I will answer.....

His BODY is acurately described in numerous places.....Start with him telling the DISCIPLES to handle him because they Freaked out thinking he was a SPIRIT.....then go to 1st Corinthans 15 and do a word study on the RESURRECTED BODY...........!!!

God sees the end from the beginning....and to THE eternal God, who is outside the constraints of time, which is like a snap of the fingers, it was already a done deal before he cast down the world in creation.
I know He sees the end from the beginning.....true, but was it just in the mind of Father that He would offer His Son? It says slain.

Do you agree that Jesus was before this age? As Son with the Father? Does this have something to do with the first age, or am I overthinking it?

Maybe those people that you accuse would benefit more if you quoted Scripture from a better translation...
I’ve always wondered why so many people were against the KJV.

I’m not a KJV only pusher, but I understand why the KJVO’s are the way they are.

I find that many modern translations are as weak as most Christians today; which suits them well.

I know I answered this. But I guess living to please God is foreign to many. What can I do? It’s foreign to them.

are you sure it's totally foreign to them?

speaking of foreigners though ☺

. . .

11Beloved, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to /////// abstain /////// from the desires of the flesh ( crucify the flesh ), which war against your soul. 12 /////// Conduct yourselves /////// with such /////// honor /////// among the Gentiles that, though they slander you as evildoers, they may see your /////// good deeds /////// and glorify God on the day He visits us.

Have you conducted a poll of "the many" to see if living to please God "is foreign to many" or is this just your biased, "holier then thou" assumption?
I read what they write here as they volunteer their views. So far on this thread, and I was addressing this thread, who talks about pleasing God in what they do? Many think believing OSAS is pleasing God which means they don’t know what pleases Him even though He laid it out.

DorthyMae: You can lose your salvation!
Conclusion: Jesus is an impotent liar.

Micaiah-Imla: I am now sinless and shall remain sinless due to my own righteous works!
Conclusion: Christ's ministry after the cross is not availabe, from here on out we must make it on our own, by our own power and our own works.

This is the first chance I had to GO TO CHURCH today, instead of watching in on the internet.
Here the song writer is giving THE LORD TOTAL CREDIT for throwing our SHACKLES of SIN, in the SEA:

Ever asked the question?

When I me took it they can only think I’m working for salvation. That’s it. So it must be a foreign concept.
Ever asked the question?
Good thought.

Of course Jesus WAS before this age....he is the one that created ALL THINGS.....that is the beauty of the language and with out finite minds we lay time out in a linear fashion because we are bound by it......There is a bigger picture that many miss (I.E. what the purpose of creation is, the why's if you will) and to the mind of God (based upon scripture and the sureity of what took place) Christ was already crucified before the foundation of the earth was laid. THIS IS HARD for us to grasp because the next 10 seconds has not happened yet for us, yea even the next second.....The will of God is absolute and it was all a done deal before it even happened. Just like the heirs of salvation being saved before the foundation of the earth was laid......He knows who will believe and they were seen as saved and justified before the earth was even laid down in creation.

Once again you glorify yourself as the only one here/anywhere/everywhere who "pleases" God. Oh didn't the Pharisees do the very same thing. Christ also laid out "humbleness" as "pleasing Him."

Does this verses mean anything to you? Never mind, OSAS has probably ruined them for you, at least partially.

Titus 2:13-15
[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. [15] These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

At times I feel like I am talking to people in complete ignorance of scripture.
Good works by and for Whom?

John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Let that sink in. And quit stealing God's glory and the credit that is is due the Lord Jesus Christ Messiah.

By his peculiar people.

Good works benefits man to man and brings peace and harmony.

God needs nothing from you. You are the one that needs him.

It pleases God when you obey him.
