I am saying it is impossible.....John was clear, spoke in present tense and used himself as an example.
If WE say that WE have NO SIN, WE are deceived and the truth is not in US.
This is clear, John writes almost 20% of the N.T....was the disciple that Jesus loved, could not be killed by the ROMANS and he included himself 4 times in the above verse.....
We can sin less, we can cut certain sins by the power of CHRIST, but NO ONE is sinless and or will be while in this body of flesh!

Isaiah 55:1-3
An Invitation to Abundant Life

Paul posed the question to those who would abuse grace by falsely concluding that grace would abound were sin would abound:
Romans 6:1-2
[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Romans 6:6
[6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
A true believer, according to the word of God, reckons his body destroyed and crucified.
Galatians 5:24
[24] And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

I've rarely heard such a ridiculous claim so well defended. Kudos on your defense while shaking my head in disbelief upon the stance you are taking.
Aside: I am not sure why so many are spending so much time trying to argue against a clearly fictitious claim.

The COMPLETED work of the cross...
atonement
sacrifice
propitiation
forgiveness,
reconciliation
redemption
and more....
There is no partial in any of these.
You simply cannot let "you" go, can you?
You make your "sin" the issue because you have a problem with the Grace of God
Until you accept "the grace extended to you" your gaze is forever in the wrong direction and you stay in bondage.
