I thought they were timewasters and money wasters when we had them at the takeaways where you had to put in coins for each game played...good way to train for being an assassin or a gambler. Both honorable jobs in videogame land but not so in real life

A game might cost upwards of $120 and a console at least $400

I try not to judge people. that play them obviously they enjoy the and killing and shooting imaginary people but not my cup of tea. I try not to worry about stuff like the morality of it all especially games such as grand theft auto that make larceny and theft so attractive that it gets rewarded.

if people want to play around with that then thats their issue with God.

Gta and Mortal Kombat like games do not appeal to me for that reason. I can justify self defense in a game, but I dont think literally ripping someone in half qulifies. When I was younger I played games that were faaar worse than gta. There rather tame compared to some Japanese only games

I got 13 systems from Sega Genesis to ps4 and switch. My favorite is my Super famicom (Japanese super Nintendo)

I understand the morality issue too. On games I'm fine with be good and fighting evil but u rather not play the bad guy (unless theres a redemption theme) I dont like stealing in games either (unless it's from monsters they dont need the gold) Gta, Mortal kombat, God of War, COD I am not a fan.

I just tried playing Gotham City Imposters, and not sure what to make of it. Probably need to give it about 3 days, before making any comments on it. Team Fortress 2 is still my favorite right now.

Er... Quarex is a character in a video game.

Wasteland 2 is a post-apocalyptic RPG. Quarex is a minor character who runs an arcade in the wasteland, specifically in a town that used to be a train yard. (No idea what he does for electricity...) He has every console ever made, except for one - and he will pay you if you find it for him.

Whoops...lol

That seems to be the theme in many war games. So, is the game your currently playing Lynx?

Just downloaded Insurgency Sandstorm, and it seems well designed. Sorta has the same feel has Rogue Spear, which was one of my favorites back in the late 90's.

Team Fortress 2 has been having some bots/hackers lately, so had to venture off, and find something for back up.

Gotham City Imposters is fun. I like close combat generally, waiting for minutes with a sniper rifle gets boring. The Gotham City game has very little system requirements for a PC.

The learning curve is much smaller than TF2 and the humor is at par. Also Gotham City Imposters is free.
