When we walk in the Spirit the flesh is weakened but yes the flesh will be there until we die.
So...we can give into temptation of the flesh?

For sin having “no dominion,” there’s a lot of wrong (sinful) choices being made. Must be difficult to write that one (glorious) state exists when the reality is different.Well you have a choice grace or law?
Under grace (secure salvation) sin will have no dominion over you, under the law you are fighting a losing battle.
Why did Jesus take all of mankind’s sin?
I stand amazed at anyone who can believe such a doctrine of OSAS. That is what devalues; not only Jesus, but the whole of scripture!
Micah 6:12-13
[12] ...and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth. [13] Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.
Hear what the LORD says!
I did not state that at all, if you are going to twist my words best we do not discuss..... sad face.
You will face the music of your pride one dayNonsense.
Continue sinning and you will face the music one day friend.
Repent! And hear what the scriptures say!

Taking a couple of verses from the OT and applying them to the Body of Christ
He took away their past sins.
I know you didn’t say that calm down.....I asked a question...maybe EG can answer it......you need a break my dear.
All my sin was far future when He atoned for it.
I don't need a break... I am perfectly fine.
We are to draw near to the throne of grace.
Hebrews 4:15-16 New International Version (NIV)
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Romans 8:1-2
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Eleventhhour you need to take a break seriously...for your own good.....so does DorothyMae....this thread is getting ridiculous and it shows in your posts.
Is that why you sin so often? I have not hung eternity on theology, but on the Person and promises of Jesus Christ.Hope you enjoyed your walk. I know you guys won’t see it but others read these posts and perhaps can see the blindness. OSAS just has to be right for you. You’ve hung your whole eternity on that theology.
Btw, My assurance comes from a living and vital relationship with my Father for which I take full responsibility for doing my part.
This is faulty thinking and not even once alluded to in scripture.
That’s better....thank you,x..just asking a question and you bite my head off..x
