What are some movies that you watched, that you feel have a good message in it?

Two off the top of my head are.......

1. The Promise

2. Hacksaw Ridge

Both movies are based off of true stories. I would recommend both.

What movies would you recommend?

The movie I have recommended the most when asked by others here is this one:

My only quibble is the translation they chose to depict :)

I would also recommend Do You Believe? And All Saints :D

Will have to take a look, thanks for the recommendation.

Why do you think it was such a good movie?

Seen it, definitely a well made movie.

You are welcome :)

Yes, all three are heartfelt :D

But of the second two, possibly the first one more so

Though the second of those two is especially inspiring, being based on a true story (y)

The 80s soundtrack, the suits, the money, the mansions, the hardcore mentality that it takes to succeed in America.

I seen Scarface, thought Push to the Limit was like a sequel, or something. Not sure that movie had a good message, but maybe I'm looking at it wrong?!?!

haha!

It's really hard for me to find a good movie to watch, so will definitely keep this in mind.

Have you seen Hacksaw Ridge or The Promise?

Any other must see movies you'd recommend?

Oh, no it's just the most iconic song from Scarface, I figured the epic montage with that song might trigger the soyboys so I opted just to post only the song.

As for the message, my take was that it's a great message, it's a great middle finger in the face of the effeminate worthless society of today.

Any movies you think you would give a thumbs up to society?

Oh yea for sure, all of the pretty terrible remakes and reboots of the past decade that they injected all the liberal stuff into. I suppose it's only a matter of time before they remake Scarface and cast Tony Montana as a black transgender woman.

I heard 'Chariots of Fire' is a great movie, I haven't seen yet, lol.
Chariots of Fire is a 1981 British historical drama film. It is based on the true story of two athletes in the 1924 Olympics: Eric Liddell, a devout Scottish Christian who runs for the glory of God, and Harold Abrahams, an English Jew who runs to overcome prejudice

Jaws.

The message is very clear.. Don't go swimming in the surf at night.

Gladiator was pretty good. Interesting thing I was learning about gladiators, was their diets. Their diets composed of wheat, barley, and beans.

Tell that to Bethany Hamilton, who went surfing during the day, and was attacked by a Tiger Shark. Good news is, she Never Quit, and she also is a Christian.

Soul Surfer is another good movie I would recommend. It's about a true story about Bethany Hamilton. I like movies that are based on true stories. I never cried so hard in my life, when watching a movie.

Yes, I did see Hacksaw Ridge, with my daughter, who yearly likes to watch the Oscar contenders for best movie :) I have not seen The Promise , though I do really like Christian Bale as an actor :) I wanted to tell you about not a movie, but a one season limited series I just finished watching, called Seven Seconds. It was on the edge of being very gritty and intense, was heartfelt throughout, and also had a very strong Christian theme portrayed through major and minor characters. Though there was a lot of profanity throughout, there were no sex scenes. It is from 2018, runs over ten hours, and is rated 7.7 on imdb. The story line: In an instant, life is forever changed for Brenton Butler and his family. After a white cop accidentally hits and critically injures a black teenager (who subsequently dies), a northeastern city explodes with racial tensions, an attempted cover up and its aftermath, and the trial of the century. Very timely given current events

You would make a good saleswoman, never seen someone promote a series as well. You make feel like I have to watch now, or I'm just not interesting. Very smooth, even heartfelt. :)

I have been watching some excellent docudramas recently, if you would like me to promote them to you as well :D
