I have many questions to ask and thought this a good place to start asking.

First question...what does handing someone over for the destruction of their flesh mean?...thank you.

Hi,
God loves you very much!
He alone gives us strength and guides our way.
May His richest truths be spread thoughtout your heart.
Seek His word in the scriptures, people tend to give out their own or others interpretations.
May He fill that hunger in your soul.
Peace to you!

Beyond me..yes.....but not beyond the Holy Spirit revealing it to me?....surely you would know that as a born again?
Born again does not entitle you to know all. I know others have told you otherwise but I assure you, being born again doesnt mean you get to know everything. It’s better to leave some understandings for future maturity.

If I am meant to understand the first question I asked on this thread....then the Holy Spirit will lead me to the answer.

No,he doesn’t reveal all to us....I have asked the Lord many many questions..still waiting for answers...those questions may never be answered...I’m ok with that because I walk in faith and put my trust in God.

Generally speaking, the word flesh often takes on a negative connotation in Scripture, though not always. In this context, the flesh would be referring to those things which oppose the Holy Spirit of God. We know what is right and good and yet may fail to do it when the flesh interferes. If A is attempting to help B see the workings of the flesh in B's life, and B resists beyond the point where A sees they are making no headway, then turning B over for the destruction of their flesh simply means A leaves it in God's hands to deal with, in whatever way He sees fit. Two cannot walk together unless they are in agreement.

What I have found in Christ is everything that was taken and I searched for the things I hated and became lead me home to him no longer needing to look for answers but to know in time they will reveal to me. As my life has lead me to this and in his light. In all that has been revealed to me is an understanding trust because what we think we know isn’t always so. For what I don’t know brings me trust and what I didn’t once no had brought me faith

It doesn’t happen that way. One cannot simply claim the Holy Spirit will teach one all as one wishes to be informed.

Thats the right attitude although sometimes understanding is granted.

Did we inherit sin from Adam and Eve?

Also when they sinned, they were naked....because they were uncovered?.they tried hiding from God?...God knew straight away what they had done?
And he was not pleased.
Their eyes were opened?

Adam and Eve had no shame until they sinned against God, and in realizing what they had done, attempted to "cover" themselves. God saw their covering was inadequate, and provided the first covering involving a blood sacrifice, pointing forward to the ultimate sacrifice of His Son for the propitiation of sin, that those who believe by grace through faith in His shed righteous blood on our behalf (due to His great love for us), may be reconciled to Him, and attain to life ever after.

It means to release the power of Satan to punish for the purpose of discipline. Of course, Satan means to destroy, but the Purpose of the Lord, and which should be of the congregation as well, is to Save. Oftentimes, affliction will drive a man to his knees, which is what this is designed to do.

God's aim in discipline is not to preserve the purity of the Church, but to save the person who sins. Sometimes Believers forget this latter purpose.

Even though the Church can do such a thing as here suggested, still, it is God Who ultimately Alone can turn a person over to Satan. This is another check and balance of the Holy Spirit.

Lamentations 3
“31 For the LORD will not cast off forever (the Lord will not afflict forever, meaning that it will come to an end, if we will only trust Him):

32 But though He cause grief, yet will He have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies. (We have the assurance that any “grief” He causes is brought about for our good, and is done with “Compassion” and “Mercy.” What a wonderful Lord we serve!)

33 For He does not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. (God does not afflict in a malicious spirit, as man does. Men afflict others in order to hurt. God afflicts in order to help, i.e., “to bring us to a place of maturity.”)

Ok, then you know that there are conditions to know more truth like most of his promises.

Jesus spoke these things, many believed in Him. 31So He said to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

It is from Adam....note the scripture

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
