There was one that quite a few members here also frequented, and we had a mass exodus of their members join here when that site suddenly shut down without warning. I think Christian Chat is the best I was on Carm for about three years before joining here, and before that I spent a period of four years on myspace on their Religion forum before the site was sold and reclaimed for musicians. They deleted all the boards to start fresh -

Yes, I do not know what the problem is on other sites, though I have heard bits here and there, such as being too strict in terms of what they will allow to be discussed, for instance. Myspace was a secular site with very little Christian moderation, so pretty much anything and everything went on there (though no porn was allowed), and CARM has a section dedicated to atheists, agnostics, and secular humanists (which is where I spent the majority of my time while there), plus just about every flavor of Christianity available, so they allow a lot in terms of what is acceptable to discuss. Christian Chat has been around for over twenty years

Just letting y'all know that Wille T and old member from this forum and a member from my forum [CyB] has gone to be with Jesus today at 3.30pm Florida time. He will be missed by members of our forum as he was dearly loved. Please pray for his dear wife Sue at this difficult time. Thank you xox
