Back in what day are you referring to Poin? They didn't start to resettle until 1948. That is what I was referring to. In 1948, was it God or man behind it?

I never met my father. My mother always said earn your way so you owe no one. :whistle:

Maybe I should rearrange it. The question, of the founding of modern Israel, in the first half of the post is still unanswered. In 1948, was it God or man behind it? :unsure:

Only God can do such miracles! Especially the miracles in the following wars are definitely overseen by God, just like in the OT.

Why is the Old Testament significant? (I know it is, btw)

In a sentence, the OT gives the reader a glimpse into the mind of God and how He made and forgave six times His Israel and how that leads to His ultimate blood sacrifice, His seventh.

Question - Is the OT a historical or literary or poetic account?

Communication and direction. Trying to always be in communication is key. Recently discovered that we shouldn't be fighting for our own wants, but let Jesus take all the head wind, sort of like a birds migrating South for the winter. It really takes a lot of faith to trust, no matter how dark it gets.

Yes, but only as a spirit. I believe we will be given assignments to be carried out on other worlds. As spirits, we will have all the advantage pertaining to time, just as God does now. Who would want to wait thousands of light-years travelling around the cosmos? Who would want to wonder if there were enough oxygen, water, food, etc, to sustain our flesh? Does God not now manage the universe? Will He still manage it when we are with Him? :love:(y)
