I will be following my father to England for awhile. I was wondering about the population there around my age... I'm sixteen. Uhm... from what I've heard... they aren't exactly nice, the last thing I need are racists and bullies... Also, has have anyone of you like ever spoken to God? Like, actually spoken to him, real-time.

Im not from England, Im from Scotland. What I can tell you is are'nt doing your self any favours framing your request in such negative terms. Englands like anywhere else, there are nice people, there are not nice people. The united kingdom is largly speaking liberal and secular and although it has its vocal minority of bigots who hate what they dont understand, most folks wil take you as they find you.

How would you react if I asked you, if you were a religious nut case or sane enough to be worth talking to?

Im sure not well.

Either way, I hope you enjoy your time in the UK.

K then. I'll keep that in mind. Sorry, if you took offense to it, I didn't mean it to offend anyone. I do know people who have had not so nice things happen to them during their stay there, even my father has been graced with eggs that come from the sky.

And as for your question, I'll assume it's rhetorical and should be left alone? If you do want a reply however, your conjecture of me taking on such a question on in an uncivil manner, I can say with confidence is absolutely a hundred percent wrong, though I do have my doubts on if or not you would even bother about my reply to such a question.

Thank you for taking your time to reply^^

No, I didnt take offence. Just trying to point out that it leaves people open to being offended needlessly.

The quesion is indeed rhetorical, and if you see it as uncivil thats a good thing as it purely a reflection of your question and meant simply to illustrate my point. Im not sure whats a 100% wrong, that its uncivil, that your loon, that your worth talking to.
As its rhetorical, I dont care if theres an answer; if you do however answer I'll pay you the courtesay of considering it.

Your welcome, I hope it helps.

What I meant that was a 100% wrong is your guess that I would reply to that question in an uncivil manner.

I'm sure not well.[end quote]

I'll end it at that since I just wanted to clarify what wasn't clear enough for you in my last post regardless if you cared or not. As this stands as merely a post to clarify, I need no such courtesy, though I am happy you offered it at all. Thank you very much for your time.

I can conclude that my question has already been answered, thus this thread no longer has any point. Well then, good night.

I have been to England and found it amazingly different than here. But not in a bad way. I really enjoyed my stay there. There are numerous things to do there. A must do is visit the Eye of London. The view is simply breath taking. I found the people polite and kind, if you treat them that way. There are many places there that you will enjoy I'm sure. I really do miss it. Maybe one day I will be able to go back and visit all the friends I made over there.

I too have been to England and I really loved it. I really want to go back, and I wouldn't even mind living there one day. As Laretta said the people there are very nice. There is a ton to do over there. It's a diverse country, and so i'm sure people are used to seeing people from different nationalities. Have fun over there.

im 16 and from England, its the same as everywhere there are really nice people and douchebags. if you have the attitude that we're all mean and racist you wont get a great response. im not offended but you seem abit of a pre-judgemental douche, it was a strong statement to imply we're racist bullies.
