You are clueless, you have no idea whats happening to this world right now. I think every conspiracy theory I've ever heard is coming to fruition right now.
If that is true - could it possibly indicate that there are those who know what they are talking about . . . ?

There are conspiracy theories...
There are conspiracy facts...

Every Christian should know how to distinguish between the two.

There are conspiracy theories..
And this term may have been manufactured by the conspirators themselves. They do not want anyone to discern that an actual conspiracy was hatched, since all conspiracies are criminal at the core.

1. Let's take the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Instead of doing a thorough investigation into the conspiracy (since the assassination of a sitting president has to be based on the conspiracy) the Warren Commission produced a BOGUS report which dismissed any conspiracy.

2. Let's come closer to home. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton hatched a conspiracy to remove Donald Trump from office even though he had won the election fairly (in spite of huge odds and opposition). This was a coup d'Etat, where the head of state would be ILLEGALLY removed. There was even talk of assassination. That conspiracy involved the White House, the CIA, the DOJ, the FBI, the State Department, MI6, and other foreign intelligence agencies and governments. This was huge (much bigger than Watergate, hence Obamagate) and had the media been faithful to their calling, everything should have been fully exposed for what it was.

But the Deep State and the Leftist lying mainstream media resisted every attempt for the truth to come out, EVERYONE LIED UNDER OATH, and even today, all the facts are not evident (with the total cooperation of the RINOs in Washington who actually colluded with the conspirators). The Mueller report was a totally BOGUS report, and the Impeachment Hoax was a total SHAM. Yet not one of the conspirators is behind bars, because the DOJ and FBI were never thoroughly cleaned out, and remained corrupt.

3. Then we had the Wuhan virus conspiracy which involved the Communist Party of China, WHO, Gates, Soros, Redfield, Birx, Fauci, the Imperial College in England, CDC, NIH, IHME, and others, to bring the Western world to its knees, destroy economies, undermine civil liberties, and introduce totalitarianism (which includes snitching on others). No one set up an independent commission to investigate this conspiracy, and even the Prime Minister of Australia spoke out of both sides of his mouth. Indeed President Trump has refused to fire Anthony Fauci, even after his fraudulent career and bogus predictions have been exposed by numerous people.

4. While the bogus "pandemic panic" was in progress, well-funded and well-organized Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and many other Radical Leftist, Anarchist, and Fascist groups were plotting and planning the Destruction of America. How to introduce anarchy, chaos, rioting, looting, arson, and violence on the streets of American cities (and in the minds of Americans) as soon as Spring appeared. Their goals were two fold (1) prevent Trump from being re-elected and (2) destroy the fabric of a free society to replace it with Totalitarianism after Anarchy. This was the Bolshevik Revolution in America. No sooner had the death of George Floyd been announced, than the streets of America were scenes of destruction and property damage in the millions (if not billions), while many people were murdered and pallet loads of bricks were delivered to strategic locations as weapons. There was a conspiratorial plot to destroy statues all over America and the Western world, and thoroughly undermine the police. And the anarchists have succeeded.

In view of all this, the person who put out that pamphlet insulting Christians is probably associated with the Leftist conspirators, and wants Christians to believe that there are only fairy tale "conspiracy theories" and not actual conspiracies.

Flat earth was not included in my list. :)
My comment was intended to point out that there are people - who, for years and decades - have been trying to wake people up to the fact that there are conspiracies in the world...

If anyone exposes the lack of crediblity of the theory they are part of the conspiracy? That is crazy talk. Get help.

Hey Scribe. Why haven’t you answered my simple question?

Did Noah literally construct an Ark to hold a pair, (some were 7) of ALL the Earth’s animals, because God literally destroyed all living things on Earth?

And did that flood that God brought in fact destroy every living thing on Earth except Noah, his family, and the all the animals on the Ark he built over the course of 120 yrs?

I don't understand you. Your logic may make sense to yourself but I have no idea what your talking about. Noah building an Ark in obedience to God and saving his family has nothing to do with illogical, unreasonable, conspiracy theories founded on a warped sense of reality. Unless you are suggesting that these people believe that God told them to spread these lies to save the world.

The questions were precise and clear.

Your answer was not. I think deliberately murky. What could you possibly not understand about those questions.

1. Did Noah construct an Ark over the course of 120 yrs?

2. Did 2 of every animal in the World come to him with the purpose of keeping the species alive ? (Except in several cases 7 animals of a species came.)

3. Did God flood the World, destroying all living things, except those on the Ark?

Those are crystal clear questions that are either a yes or no. No obfuscation required.

I believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible. What Genesis says about Noah and the flood happened just as it is written. What is your point? Let's get to it.

My original point was that the World did not repent or believe that a flood was coming.
They saw Noah building this titanic- like ship for 120 years and didn’t believe or repent.

Building the ship was the very definition of believing a conspiracy. The Lord conspired to destroy the World. Only Noah believed this conspiracy.

So who are YOU to call others conspiracy theorists?

Mr. PennEd..... the Lord did not conspire, it was not a secret.

As well generally speaking the word conspire involves another person.

That logic make sense to you and I understand that you think it is the same thing but I personally do not think that you would win any points in a debate if you were to try and convince people that the moon landing was faked and compare that with Noah building an ark when there had never been rain and people must have thought he was crazy. 0 points.

God really told Noah to build the Ark and God has also made it clear to us in the book of Revelation that his judgments are coming and why. We have already been given a clear message to preach that men should be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ to escape these judgments and be found spotless and without blame when He comes. We do not need to evangelize with some other message about saving our freedoms from the Gates Foundation or other such nonsense.

Who am I to call Christians to avoid getting caught up in repeating nonsense conspiracy theories? A minister of the Gospel, called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit. A leader in the church who has been given the responsibility to warn my brothers and sisters when I see them departing from the message we have been given to preach. A minister who recognizes the wiles of the enemy and will make them known to my fellow saints so that they can resist being taken captive by him at his will.

If you tell people that the moon landing was faked, and then at another time you try to tell them something from the bible, MOST people are going to think to themselves, 'That might be the interpretation of that scripture, but then again I have no confidence that you use normal logic when reading the scriptures and you might just be telling me what ever you want the scripture to say because after all you believe that the moon landing was faked, so at this point I am not going to accept any interpretation of scripture you share unless I check it out with someone more er... normal' You know full well that is what they think of such a person. Or say a flat earther. The same is true about crazy theories concerning the chip in the vaccine. The more adamantly you try to force someone to believe that if they take the vaccine they will be secretly chipped the more you lose your chance of ever telling them anything about the Bible or Jesus Christ.

What I have just stated is obvious to most of us but there are those in the body of Christ that do not think it is that big a deal to share these theories as entertainment. I mean by that they share and talk about them and say they are probably true but deep inside they know full well they are not but they do not realize that the people they are talking to are making decisions about their credibility during this seemingly innocent entertainment chat activity. They might share them with the thrill of sensationalism, like discussing a good idea for a scfi movie or thriller novel but knowing that they do not really believe it, however others think they do and then they stop listening to your bible subjects because now they wonder if you are dealing with a full deck and maybe your bible interpretations are as outlandish as your conspiracy theories.

I would not take so much time to present my case if there was not a very urgent need for church leaders, of which I am one, to warn the flock not to fall into this trap at this time in our society.

Also I would appeal to all those who know a conspiracy theory when they hear one not to allow the devil to put anger, or hostility in their hearts toward those who are falling for these theories and getting caught up in the hype and sensationalism of repeating them.
This is probably the most important message I am hearing from God in prayer about this. DO NOT LET THESE THEORIES DIVIDE US.

One of the wiles of the devil is to get Christians annoyed with one another and burning with anger or hatred toward one another over their views of these conspiracy theories.

I may not appoint you to a teaching position if you are on a conspiracy theory evangelism tangent at the moment but I am not to stop considering you as a brother. I am not going to lose hope that you will mature in that area and not speak about them or spread them in the church if I were to ask you not to. The devil would love to have the saints all mad at each other when they start meeting again after 4 months of social media squabbles over virus conspiracy theories. We are not ignorant of his devices. People leaving churches over arguments on whether the vaccine is the mark of the beast will be an example of the devils successful strategy.

I also wanted to add the following to the previously quoted post but ran out of time on the edit window.

Be a voice of reason and correct those that are spreading conspiracy theories in your churches. I promise you, later when that same person is looking for serious help in life, and needs someone who they can trust to give them sound advice that will be from God, they will come to you over the conspiracy theorist every time. Why? Because they will have learned by then that you were hearing from God when you corrected them when no one else would and that you truly hear from God and love them.

Did you read the article? You are demonstrating the idea... “Conspiracy theories are also a way for people to give context and meaning to events that frighten them. Without a coherent explanation for why terrible things happen to innocent people, they would have to accept such occurrences as nothing more than the random cruelty either of an uncaring universe or an incomprehensible deity.”

“People believe conspiracy theories because it is psychologically easier to believe a singular and unlikely narrative rather than engage in a hard and complicated reality where your own long-term participation is needed.”

In a weird way, the idea of a secret cabal of powerful men and women pulling the strings on international events (like assassinations, pandemics, terrorist attacks, world wars, etc.) is somewhat comforting because at least it implies someone is in control of all this madness.

[Conspiracy] theories also appeal to a strong streak of narcissism: there are people who would choose to believe in complicated nonsense rather than accept that their own circumstances are incomprehensible, the result of issues beyond their intellectual capacity to understand, or even their own fault.”

Conspiracy theories make us feel special, This was a very seductive hook. And it’s one of the reasons conspiracy theories are more likely to spread among people with lower levels of education. But that doesn’t mean people who are higher educated are immune to their allure
Were these conspiracy theories to be dismissed as fake ? When the Nazis first began blaming all their problems on the Jews ? When they first started promising the Jews they would return them safely to Israel once they had turned over their holdings to Germany ? Is man made global warming real ? How about chemtrrails, what are they ? Flouride in all public drinking water , really ? Peak oil scares to control oil price ? And the big one ''CENSORSHIP'' and fake news RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE .. PU-LEASE .. Here's a question for you , Do you believe in joining the New World Order ? Do you understand what it is ?

Dude. If I’m going to read a Book, it’ll be the Bible, not some guy’s eternally long post here. Try a little brevity please.

As to the point, look up, it’s been floating above your head for awhile now.

OF COURSE Christians believe! That’s the point! To non believers, ALL of Christianity is a conspiracy. Right up to the lake of fire.

They thought Noah was a nut. If they didn’t, they would have helped him build the Ark or built their own. Get it?

So don’t be so quick to label Christians “conspiracy theorists” just because YOU don’t believe what they say.

The real problem, is not conspiracy theories. The real problem are untaught church goers who think nothing of going all week without prayer and without even just reading scripture. Fine for you to call yourself a minister and say you are empowered by the Holy Spirit, but take a look at how you have addressed some people in this thread, telling them they need help etc.

Frankly I would not cross the street to listen to or put much value on someone who basically bounces off someone else's blog and then tries to make it their own by saying they are going to make copies and hand them out at church.

There will always be outrageous conspiracy theories and many of them can be found right in church and have their origins there as well.

I would be far far more concerned with making sure people have a personal walk with Christ, are filled with the Holy Spirit as per scripture and understand that things are not going to get better, but we must have the mind of Christ and understand the schemes of the devil (which it seems Christians once did as per scripture) and understand what it means to put on the armor of God.

Otherwise, the flesh is going to get all worked up as per this thread and your difficulty in speaking to people as if they actually had a brain instead of poo pooing everyone who questioned you.

Here are some of the things you said to people who thought your op was overblown:

Conspiracy theories make us feel special, This was a very seductive hook. And it’s one of the reasons conspiracy theories are more likely to spread among people with lower levels of education.

Conspiracy theories also appeal to a strong streak of narcissism

What you just did is an insidious bit of circular logic that not only creates a criticism-proof belief system, but it also makes a twisted sort of sense. And a twisted sort of sense is the hook that keeps people

Trolls are mentally ill because they find pleasure in pushing peoples buttons. This is not a normal kind of physical lust it is a mental addiction. A sin and yet also a mental illness both.

This one ^^^^, in particular, stands out. You are obviously not qualified to assess people's mental health and this broad brush you wish to apply to trolls, while their behavior is not helpful, is simply your own opinion. Some very good people get into trollish behavior at times because of what other people say that really ticks them off. They are not twisted, nor lusting with mental illness problems etc. Your rhetoric is not going to help anyone and if I were the Pastor of your church, I would ask you not to hand out your little article to everyone because you are going to stick your nose in the Pastor's business. Then again, this is the type of thing that the elders and deacons with the Pastor should take in hand.

And you have made a number of ad hominum posts here but I don't think you even see it in your haste to get your point across

Here again, is another particularly endearing ad hominum post you responded with to Nehemiah.

I hope your Pastor keeps a close eye on you before you go out and insult the entire congregation. SMH
