The point is two walk together who are not totally in agreement all the time. His unwillingness to call someone who disagrees with his particular theology even a saved Christian but thinks they are damned is not supported by his use of that verse. He refuses to walk with believers who don’t share his theology.

I do not insist a believer agree with me or I won’t accept them. That is the point. That is intolerance.

You should start at the beginning of a chapter my friend,

Giving no offence in any thing that the ministry be not blamed but in all things approving yourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

I know I am born again....but I do get confused at times....the last thing I want is to be ranted and raved at...I would like God to guide a more mature believer than me.....into my error.

In fact I have started a thread about the ranting and raving..hope it is approved...this post is not directed at you DorothyMae.

Another truth....God never rants and raves.

For me a person who is teaching false doctrine....be firm but also correct in patience and Love.

One can read the Bible and say, “so is the reality I see” or one can say “this is how it ought to be for relationships to be as God wants them.”

Christian marriages actually do end in divorce sometimes. One can say “God helps Christian marriages” and ignore the reality but it renders Christians unable to save marriages.

I apply the Word of God to real life. I see where it is so and where it would be better if it were so.

Two people can literally disagree on a point and still take a walk on the beach together. That they cannot do do us NOT what that passages means.

I didn’t think it was me. I don’t use rant and rave words. But I am direct. Sometimes that is misinterpreted.

I am very much convinced you are born again, dear JR.

I don’t really know a lot about how marriages work....because I have been divorced 28 yrs...gave my life to God,he is my husband...unless he decides to bring me a husband....God gave me that faith as soon as I became born again.....so I wait on him...I would also know in my spirit when God brings him to me...if it’s not to be so be it......God sustains me like no other.

Beautiful!! I suspect a difference in christian marriages might be that the Holy Spirit insists one ask for forgiveness and one forgive even if not asked. This can make a big difference.

I can absolutely relate to that..you get drawn in.....I was emotionally abused as a child so all I ever knew was arguing and conflict....so I believed it to be normal behaviour..it was like an addiction as it was all I had ever known...then God came into life..slowly weaned me off the arguing as it was such a huge part of my life.....I can still get drawn in....but God being God wakes me up to it....Praise God!!.....

You should trust Jesus by faith and then come lecture me on where to start....the context Is WORKING TOGETHER and that does not change the factual statement I made...congrats....you just devolved yourself into a stance against the truth...no worries though...we know you already attempt to blend the covenants, peddle a false gospel and oppose truth!! And this just further proves that point.....!!

DC your frustration is through the roof my friend. Calm down, and let Abba Father guide you. Maybe this could be your ministry. Teaching people in love about the gospel.

If not, bang the doors and see what results you will get. You are acting like a spoiled little child and that is sad to see. I actually do like you.....

The whole Bible is working together as I have pointed out many times. I was under the impression we were having a civilized discussion... or at least one of us was.
