It the heat of a battle against sin, OSAS will be used by the Enemy to get you to yield. “It doesn’t matter as you’ll always be saved so give in” will be whispered. What would you answer to silence him?
You’re jealous of OSAS believers because we rejoice in God’s grace and peace and sadly you don’t know His grace or peace.

Try to comprehend what OSAS believers hold as belief.

John 5:24

"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

1 John 5:13
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.

John 6:37

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

Non-OSAS believers try to put their own false twist to eternal salvation. They like to add 1. Salvation God has given can be lost. 2. Works is what keeps one's salvation. 3. OSAS believers do not love God as they do.

What utter nonsense they spread and they do not spread the Gospel with their self-righteous "put down" of those of us who believe the Word of God.

The Pharisees were sure they were the ones who had it all right with all of their rules, regulations and especially their arrogance towards the true followers of Jesus. They will be left out in the cold.

Thanks G
The difficulty or difference between me and OSAS believers is that I think of the whole plan of redemption as opening the possibility of relationship with God and not merely saved from hell. This I see from Genesis to Revelation. So they see these matters as once they’re going to Heaven they cannot miss. I see it as although I walk with Him today, I could leave Him. So many times we’re talking apples and oranges.
I see it as although I walk with Him today, I could leave Him.

Then you have not understood the Gospel message.

I don’t think she will misunderstand you. You’re right, she asked you a question and you simply answered it.

OSAS allows the believer to call others nasty names without any concern since they are going to Heaven no matter how they behave in their own minds. To suggest they should consider their behaviour is to “suggest” WORKS, which is to them heresy. Loving God and loving others are optional extras, I guess.
Blah blah blah Cainologist....go bark in another thread...Maybe you could start one on how righteous you are and how you help Jesus because he is too weak or inept to do what he says for a religionist like yourself!

Here I will help...

Thread title--> Uber Righteous DM presents her own gospel!

There is a new LIE about OSAS, that I have Never Heard before. In my life, I have been involved with 14 different Evangelical style of Churches, because we moved a lot, and NOT ONE OF THOSE CHURCHES ever taught that, and nor any of the FALSE STATEMENTS your have been reiterating Here since you got here. It appears to me that you are on a deliberate smear campaign of OSAS BELIEFS. IS THAT THE TRUTH ? ? ?
Yep....like all of the others before her.....she is not of God as evidenced by her words.....! Just another fraud and religionist.....look at her trying to turn people from the truth....sickening

Dear VCO

The problem is you look at how OSAS is taught and see no discrepancy between the teaching of “ought to do right” and how it is lived out. So if any one points out the freedom to sin the theology gives as evidenced even in your own lack of charity towards what you perceive as enemies, you cry “we don’t teach that” as though what is taught is lived out by every believer in your church.

Jesus himself told his disciples to do as the Pharisees and teaches of the law instruct, but not to do as they behave. Do you think the OSAS believers do as their churches teaches? I observe even in your post responses that are not in accordance with Jesus teaching. Do you love your enemies in your words?

The teaching of OSAS is not the problem. The result of believing it is in some believers is the problem.

I detect a whole lot of anger. Not sure where you see rejoicing. If you were rejoicing you would be kind to those who disagree. As it is, you throw red X or thumbs down and run away.

You misquoted me.

What I said was that when a person has NO LOVE FOR THE TRUTH the seed of faith cannot take root in them which also means their faith cannot grow and they are not able to bear good fruit.

Having NO LOVE FOR THE TRUTH kills the seed of faith. Depending on the condition of one's heart regarding desire and love for Truth, when they hear any word of truth, they will receive or reject the word spoken to them.

This is true with anything, not just the Word of God - The Holy Bible.

Jesus explained the various heart conditions in the Parable of the Sower.

How did I misquote you? The blue was verbatim what you wrote. You would be better to leave off the false accusation and admit you didn’t write what you meant. Instead you chose untruth. I could have misquoted you as you wrote that word for word inthat order. To misquote i would have had to change your words. I did not.

Otherwise this clarification I agree with. Next time just clarify. Don’t falsely accurse what is easily shown as untrue.

You left off the "No" at the beginning of Lafftur's statement, addressing what she'd said as if the no was not there.

And I am hear to encourage YOU. Most of which she talks about is False Information. I have been involved with 14 different Evangelical style of Churches in my life, and what we teach is a 180 degrees OPPOSITE, of what she claims to have experienced. I don't know, but it could be a personal Vendetta against OSAS Believers. If you want, ask me what we teach, and I will give you an honest answer, with scripture to back it up.
Can we ask you how the teaching produces Christlike behavior in the churches who teach this ....apart from the posts you OSaS believers write here?

Actually I read the whole thing differently then what she meant which the “no” wouldn’t have changed. Adding it doesn’t change it for me.

No love for the truth as in no kind of love for the truth can kill the seed of faith.

But I see what you mean and you’re right. I can see why she wrote as she did. Thanks. I stand corrected.
