If Jesus is ruling this world right now, He sure is allowing a lot of sin and darkness in His kingdom. That’s not my Jesus. When He will finally rule, sin and darkness will be no more. That’s ruling with a rod of iron.
If he is king of kings in rev 19,he is king of kings in rev 1.
Both are from heaven

I don’t follow the pack I follow Gods word. The pack says my Bible is full of errors. That’s why I stopped listening to the brethren.
So you are alone?
Nobody but you properly interprets scripture?

Out of 5 or 6 pple I have asked who they are affiliated with ...NONE COULD ANSWER.

THOSE THAT CAN NOT ANSWER ARE HIDING.

Do you know why there are over THIRTY THREE (emphasis on the number 33) million Christians denomination’s?

Do you know why the vast majority of them have an obelisk with an X chromosome coming out of it sitting on top of their roofs?

No you don’t because if you did, you and I wouldn’t be having this conversation. So go peddle your self righteous indignation on some gullible fool that’ll believe the nonsense your speaking.

when you talk about sects springing up that allowed people to believe according to the Bible, do you mean the Protestant Reformation?

if so, then it sounds like the things irenaeus was saying about the church would have been true up until the Protestant Reformation.

It's a known fact that many people could not read or write for many Centuries. They just took a preacher's word for it. The average human being was very uneducated and illiterate in the past. But as people began to become more literate and educated, they began reading. And the Bible was one of the most read Books ever because of this. When you can read for yourself, you can hold what is being taught accountable. And this led to the separation and eventual Reformation.

I guess His throne is seated beside God the Father's throne in heaven. He certainly isn't King of this earth yet.

Correct. His enemies have not yet become His metaphorical footstool. That will only happen at (and after) His Second Coming.

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? (Heb 1:13)

What we see around us is proof positive that Christ has not taken control of this earth with His rod or iron, and established His rule over all the earth.

Oh yes he is.
There are two kingdoms at odds with each other.
My king has his kingdom right now. He has a throne and has a kingdom. It is his people here on earth. He is ruling and reigning in his kingdom. He is my king and I serve him.
All other powers bow to his power. He is the all powerful Lord God And King.
He handed authority to his followers.

You guys have poo pooed the non Pauline books for so long you missed the full gospel of power.
To you Jesus us an abstract. A prince waiting to take his throne. A Caterpillar in a cocoon.
No sir....I resist that with truth.

Lol
All kings have enemies.
Under that logic, any King with enemies is not yet a king.

You completely missed the point. "Until I make thine enemies THY FOOTSTOOL". Do you know what that means?

DANIEL 7: THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CHRIST'S KINGDOM ON EARTH
13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of Man [Christ] came with the clouds of heaven [all the saints and angels], and came to the Ancient of Days [God the Father], and they brought Him [Christ] near before him [the Father]. 14 And there was given Him [Christ] dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Are all people, nations, and languages serving Christ right now? Quite the opposite. The world is going to Hell in a handbasket, and you can check the news to confirm that.

Ok, Jesus is King of this earth now...why is His kingdom so dark and sinful? Why, in His kingdom, is Satan the god of this world? Nope, that’s not Jesus, not yet. There’s coming a day when He truly reigns as King. I serve the risen Saviour!

1Co 15:25 (KJV) For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

Christ must reign until death is destroyed and then Christ will be subject to God.

If Christ is reigning right now, what is he reigning over? And since he is reigning right now, how is he not the king of what he’s reigning over right now?

Same question to you? When Jesus is seated at the the right hand of the Father ruling and reigning over his kingdom, which kingdom is he ruling over and why would he not be considered king over that kingdom?

As we see in the book of Hebrews Christ is NOT reigning over the inhabitants of the earth at present. He is the High Priest (after the order of Melchizedek) in the Heavenly Sanctuary. He is also our divine Advocate and Intercessor (appearing in the presence of God for us).

Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an High Priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A Minister of the Sanctuary, and of the true Tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. (Heb 8:1,2)

The book of Hebrews continues to tell us that He will come "a second time". And that is when He will establish His reign on earth.

For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:.. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Heb 9:24,28)

I don’t read in Scripture that He is currently reigning as King, rather is our mediator, interceding on our behalf to the Father.

Well what he is reigning over while he’s seated at the right hand of God?

Ah so since this doesn’t fit your theology, reigning doesn’t really mean reigning lol. Now reigning morphs into mediating. You guys are full of bull and misleading people by the things you say.

Telling people that Jesus is reigning over this earth right now is misleading people that Jesus is a poor leader and can’t handle sin and darkness in His own kingdom. Why isn’t the King stepping up and doing something about it?🤦‍♂️

Your made up Jesus is a poor leader maybe but the Jesus of the Bible is ruling and reigning over his kingdom that comes to this EARTH without observation. You would agree if you would stop changing the meaning of words in the Bible.
