"And hereby we do know that we know Him if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments is a LIAR and the truth is not in him.' 1 John 2:3-4 KJV

No, I don’t think obedience is a means of salvation and i’ve said that over and over again but I patiently repeat it. Obedience is NOT a means of salvation.

Those who are saved can shipwreck their faith, fall away from the faith, deny the Lord who saved them, turn back, to use biblical language. The bit is correct. That’s what I think.

That has always baffled me DorothyMae...how can anyone who is truly saved shipwreck their faith?

I really don’t understand it.

Can they? I agree. Why do we stop trusting? Because the one we trust becomes untrustworthy.

What does it say about God to say he is untrustworthy?

You carry on believing what you post...you have already convinced yourself that you are right.
You even met God....crikey.....that’s a first for man kind.and your still alive!...lol.

So, you accuse me of bearing false witness, not teaching false doctrines.

1. so you lied yourself
2. I did meet god, when he saved me, and sealed me with his spirit if you have not, your not saved (I did not say face to face, so,again do not lie)

i think before you accuse others you need to accuse yourself, it’s called taking the log out of your eye

Which means maybe the person never had true faith to begin with and never met God, thats why he lost his particular type of faith?

Meeting God..means face to face in my mind...like you meet a friend for coffee..I have not lied.

Some of your teaching.does not fit right in my Spirit....sorry if it offends.

It doesn’t offend me when you accused me of not being born again...not in the slightest.
