Ahwatukee here is the plain reading of the millennium.
The number 1000 represents the time when Jesus Christ reigns over his ONE AND ONLY kingdom on this earth. This is the kingdom that is NOT OF THIS WORLD, the kingdom that comes WITHOUT OBSERVANCE.
First of all, what you stated above contradicts itself. If Christ reigns over his one and only kingdom
on this earth, how then can it not be of this world. By saying "without observance" you are ignoring the plain meaning of scripture by misapplying it.
Scripture supports that the thousand year reign of Christ is going to be here on this physical earth.
* The Lord touches down on the mount of Olives which will be split in two
* The nations will beat their weapons of war into plowshares and pruninghooks
* Jesus will sit on the throne of His earthly ancestor king David, ruling from literal Israel
* The church, the 144,000 and the great tribulation saints will rule with Christ during that literal thousand year period
* Those whom Satan deceives after the thousand years will march across the
breadth of the earth and surround the camp of God's people the city that He loves, which is referring to the physical city of Jerusalem.
I could go on an on demonstrating the Lord's literal rule on this earth. The millennial kingdom will be a literal thousand year reign on this present earth which will begin after the tribulation period. By the way, the tribulation period, the time of God's wrath, will be "
WITH OBSERVANCE."
(Psa 50:10) For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
The thousand hills are entities that are in the earthly kingdom that comes WITHOUT OBSERVANCE.
(Psa 90:4) For a
thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
The
thousand years are DAYS that are in the earthly kingdom that comes
WITHOUT OBSERVANCE. The number of days of this kingdom IS NOT 1000 years. 1000 years denotes that these are 24 hour DAYS that fall within the kingdom that comes
WITHOUT OBSERVANCE.
You guys are so predictable! I've already mentioned Psalm 50:10 in a recent post because I knew that you guys would bring it up. So basically what you've done is just go out an grab some other scripture that uses the word 'thousand' and apply the same meaning to the usage in Revelation, while ignoring the context of Revelation. One size fits all, so to speak.
The thousand years mentioned in Revelation 20:1-7 will take place as a literal thousand years on this earth, with observance. You seem to be stuck on that word. And it seems to be the base of how you interpret everything. By do so, you ignore the plain literal meaning of scripture.
I assure you that, when Jesus appears in the air to gather His church, it will be "with observance." For the dead will rise first and then those who are still alive will be changed and caught up and removed from this physical earth with observance. And that because their physical bodily removal will be noticeable by the entire world.
In all scripture, it is the immediate context which should be considered first. Regarding the thousand years mentioned in Revelation 20, there is no reason to apply the meaning of a thousand years from any other scripture, Revelation is quite clear in its meaning of a liter thousand years.
(Rev 20:2) And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
The thousand years denotes the 24 hour DAYS that fall within the earthly kingdom that comes WITHOUT OBSERVANCE, in which Satan will be bound.
(Rev 20:3) And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
At the end of the thousand years of the earthly kingdom that comes WITHOUT OBSERVANCE, Satan will be loosed.
(Rev 20:4) And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
The thousand years denotes the EXACT TIME when those that lost their lives in Christ WERE RAISED FROM THE DEAD to reign with him in the earthly kingdom that comes WITHOUT OBSERVANCE. The kingdom that came when Christ ROSE FROM THE DEAD.
(Rev 20:5) But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
The end of the thousand years denotes the EXACT TIME when THE REST of those that will die in Christ will be raised AT THE END OF the kingdom that comes WITHOUT OBSERVANCE.
The kingdom that comes WITHOUT OBSERVANCE ENDS when the believer is translated from the earthly kingdom that comes without observance into the HEAVENLY KINGDOM that comes WITH OBSERVANCE.
Those two resurrections are the FIRST RESURRECTION.
My advice to you, would be to drop the "without observance" thing and start reading scripture while discerning what is literal and what is symbolic. Because from what you have written, you have no understanding between the two. Stop inserting "
WITHOUT OBSERVANCE" into every scripture.
Regarding your claim of "
WITHOUT OBSERVANCE" you have scripture stating the following regarding the Lord's return to the earth to end the age:
"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn.
They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds,
from one end of the heavens to the other.
The fact that the scripture states that "every eye will see Him" would demonstrate that the Lord's return will be "WITH OBSERVANCE."
In conclusion, you are very screwed up in regards to your understanding of the word of God.
