How were you saved Lenna? Do you have a testimony?

How was I saved? On my knees asking Jesus to forgive my sins and 'come into my heart'. I was a child and prayed a simple child's prayer.

Are you the local Inquisitor here? LOL!

God speaks only through Scripture. If your lyrics are not scriptural it's not God speaking.
What shall we do when not everything is in the Scriptures? You cant decipher what job to go for by reading the Bible, or who to marry, or where to live.

These are different for each person, we need the Holy Spirit.

The Scriptures are there as the infallible authority, whatever you I or someone else here says "God told them" is up for debate and testing (prove all things) but what the Bible says is not up for debate.

Demons speak through people. Jesus always spoke with them. The Spirit of Antichrist is very active today in Oneness, Jewish, and antitrinitarian groups. How many "Christian" artists have abandoned the faith after singing one song after another laced with false doctrine?
Well, from what I understand, the devil, or a demon since there is only one devil, can enter a person as per things Jesus said. Or even Peter to Ananias for that matter. However, unless there is a trauma of some kind to a defenseless person, it usually requires the co-operation of the person in order for a demon to operate through people.

Also, Jesus actually told the demons to shut up. If you look up the words Jesus actually used, the translation should be 'shut up' At least that is what I read and telling demons to shut up in Jesus name is a great idea. Don't you think?

That way, we can be sure when we are hearing from God who does still speak today by the way. First of all through His word, but also through His Holy Spirit who is our Teacher among other things. So, Jesus did not actually have a conversation with demons and it is my opinion that folks who do so today should be prepared to be lied to.

Jesus did ask the man filled with a legion of demons what their name was, but that is an exception I believe and let's remember, He is God after all and they had to answer Him, in fact, begging Him not to send them into some place without a body for a residence.

Jesus did have a bit of a conversation with the devil but the devil is not a demon and does not personally reside in people even though sometimes devil and demon are used interchangeably but that is not a right understanding.

Well siad indeed:D Also welcome to cc, I have been busy today but I saw your post on my poem and I am all to aware how people say things they say are from God and they really are speaking their own words or ego so I am glad this poem spoke to you.
All I ask is that you take it's message to heart because that was after all the purpose of which it was written

How do you tell the flesh from the spirit or from an evil spirit? And then claim it is God speaking?
This is an important question that you will not get an answer to.
I have known many people who claim the Lord spoke to them to say or do or not do a thing, and I have yet to see one be able to support it later. One church even sold their building, and rented a place in another city only for a local University to buy the building out from under them and now that church doesn't exist. Those people don't even attend the same church together they are scattered out. Along with literally dozens possibly hundreds of other situations similar.
It's why I left charimatisism.

That is probably because people cannot discern his voice from their own. Jesus said his sheep know his voice but what is it about sheep that he meant? Yes they follow the shepherd but more than that they stay close to him.

That closeness is what the deciding factor is, we learn how to recognise his voice by drawing near him by developing an intimate relationship with him. People say this but how many actually follow through with it? anyone can claim to know his voice and be close to him but only someone who would seek him to the ends of earth and who loves and adores him will truly be close to him and know his voice.

He is always speaking we just don't know how to listen

Only by scripture can you tell. Because only God speaks through scripture and the Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that what he says is the truth. Know your bible well and listen only to that.

The Gadarene Demoniac had 6000 demons. And he was saved and came running, worshipping Christ on the way.
Voices in the head are not God speaking. Only the Bible memorized is God speaking. Jesus only heales his own people, not Satan's.

Scripture does everything the Charismatic Gifts did, but more, in a more reliable way. Scripture is a lamp to my feet. Spend more time in it and you will experience very solid footing in your decisions.

His name was Legion, for we are many. Legion = 5 - 6 K in the Roman army at the time.
“What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, do not torment me”— 29for Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. (For many times it had seized him; he was kept under guard and bound with chains and shackles, but he would break the bonds and be driven by the demon into the wilds.)
Unclean spirit singular?
