This gets into the confusing question, "Is the 'man of sin' the Beast or the False Prophet?" Are you saying the Pope is the antiChrist (Beast) or the Beast's P.R. man (false prophet)?
So first beast in rev 13 is roman emperor, end at AD 1204, then second beast is pope and may rule for 42 month Will end about the years 2460.
Rev 13 say this second beast Will enforce the law for every body to take mark of the beast why we still able to sale or buy now?
No time limit given for the second beast. Only time limit given of 42 months for the first beast.
Before understanding the mark of the beast, one must understand the image of the beast.
The image of the beast is the image of the dead man on the cross (crucifix). The second beast (Roman Catholic Church) set up an image in honor of the first beast: the crucifix. Since the first beast is the Roman Empire that executed people by crucifixion, it makes perfect sense that the image of the beast is a dead man on a cross (crucifix).

Before Jesus walked on the earth there was one beast at a time. Both government and religion were mixed together like:
1) Greek empire (government) and the Greek Gods (religion).
2) Roman republic/empire (government) and the Roman Gods (religion).
3) Nebuchadnezzer was ruler of the Babylonian empire (government) who also set up an image to worship (religion).
After Jesus died for our sins and rose form the dead, thus defeating Satan, Satan became like a wounded animal and became even more dangerous.
Since 1st century AD satan now uses two beasts to attack the world
1st beast (government) works in cooperation with the 2nd beast (False Christianity)
2nd beast (Roman Empire) worked in cooperation with the 2nd beast (Roman Catholic Church)
beast is an imperial and/or tyrannical government

Today the beast is not (no imperial government for us right now), but the false prophet perpetuates. See Rev 17. we are at present are dealing with the "Prostitute of Babylon".

Interesting, but I'll stick with the fact that they are particular persons and not titles or offices. To say they are tiyles with people filling those titles is a bit disingenuous.
