The recent police killing of an unarmed black man is disgusting. There was no excuse for his death. The police officer used a technique that caused his death, and he deserves to be punished.

Massive protests have occurred throughout the nation. Some have involved burning buildings, looting, and destroying public and private property.

These protests come in the wake of the 'social justice movement" related to critical race theory. This movement has also been finding support within the Christian church, at the highest levels.

Now, there is no doubt that God expects the believer to be kind to the helpless in society, and to do whatever good they can do for them. In fact, I believe that Christians today are often lazy about this, and are spending their wealth on themselves rather than concerning themselves with the needs of other, less advantaged persons. I believe many American Christians will be taken to task on this before the throne of God.

But, the question is whether the "social justice" movement related to critical race theory is biblical.

In essence, this is the underlying teaching of the social justice movement: if a man shares the same physical characteristics as an abusive person in society, this man deserves to share at least some of the burden of the sin relating to the abuser. The more physical characteristics you share with the person, the more you deserve to share the burden of his sin.

For instance, white, Christian, male, Southern slaveowners from the 19th century abused slaves. If I am a white Christian Southern-bred male, I deserve to share the punishment for the sins this class perpetrated, more than if I am simply a white, northerner female.

A mental checklist is used to assign guilt and punishment using multiple categories such as this to determine your liability and susceptibility to punishment. The more intersections you populate, the more guilt you have, and punishment you deserve.

Major associations such as the Southern Baptists are fighting over this issue, and churches are leaving their association due to positions on this issue.

Feel free to comment on your position regarding "social justice". Again, no one believes that George Floyd deserved to die. However, I believe that some protesters are using the "social justice" concept to justify looting and rioting that is beyond peaceful protesting that our constitution allows. In fact, it makes no sense to penalize others for the sins of a white police officer. The individuals who owned these businesses likely were not fully insured and will be bearing a heavy financial burden.

And, feel free to supply more explanations related to critical race theory if you want. I admit I am no expert on this matter so my remarks might be a little incomplete.

I would not classify looting, rioting, and violence in response to a man's death, regardless of race, to be a 'social justice movement'.

Quite the opposite. The so-called social justice movement is PURELY DEVILISH.

The Bible says the enemy of Christ and Christians -- the Devil -- comes to steal, kill, and destroy. And that is precisely what the social justice (misnomer) movement is all about.

This whole idea is bogus, deceptive, and destructive. And many of the social justice *warriors* should have been arrested for sedition. But the FBI and DOJ have been too busy trying to bring Trump down instead of doing their jobs. That is because the Deep State has taken the government captive, and Trump failed to thoroughly clean house AT THE START of his presidency.

And as a White American male I am not accountable, responsible, guilty of any deed done by another white person......nor do I owe anyone anything.....and I will add....hilariously tragic that when the "slavery issue" is pushed to the forefront.....many sweep under the rug that Blacks also enslaved, bought, sold other blacks as well.....!!!

Social justice propaganda is rooted in Marxism. Freedom of free speech & rights to peaceful assembly are rooted in our constitutional republic.

The riotous discord currently taking place. Isn't rooted in either, is in no way Christian/Christ like & can be summed up in a word: Deleterious! My Opinion Only.

Critical theory aka "cultural marxism" is a deeply unbiblical ideology and a huge problem.

However... are you referring to "intersectionality" in the above quote? Because that is not what that term means, quite the opposite.

The correct term would be *Social Injustice Movement". And since they are connected to Antifa, the correct term for Antifa would be "Unhinged Fascists". They now have a handbook -- Antifa: The Antifascist Handbook.

They are supposedly opposed to White Supremacists, but everything they have been doing is geared to anarchy, looting, rioting, destruction of property, and attacks on police, and violence against ordinary citizens. They should have been declared to be Domestic Terrorists at least three years ago, not tw days ago.

President Trump has just two options: (1) ruthlessly put down all anarchists and lock them up or (2) lose his presidency and America to the Fascists, Extreme Leftists, and Communists. This is an extremely critical time for the USA, yet Republicans in Congress and the Senate are behaving as spectators rather than defenders of the Constitution and the Republic.

I wrote the original post before I realized that riots have spread to cities within 2 hours from me.

I will admit at this point I struggle with bad feelings about those who have decided destruction is an appropriate response to this case of police brutality.

Our society really does not need this, especially after the Covid19 closures which have affected the livelihood of small shop owners. Many of them do not have the insurance to cover all of this destruction.

I realize this isn't exactly on target with the thread, though, as it was meant to be a more abstract discussion of "social justice movement" which is basically cultural Marxism as another poster has mentioned..

Social Justice? Everything is redefined in sphere of the lunatic left.
The idea is to get the general population thinking in the same terms.
We have to resist all these re-definitions despite them becoming the norm in the press and on college campuses.

The faux "outrage" has spread beyond the USA. Was it by design?
The "Social Justice Movement" we see today is pure hypocrisy and thoroughly controlled.
We are meant to believe this is a spontaneous outpouring. But people are told where their faux outrage must be vented.
There have been worse murders than this recently in The UK & Ireland including a 7 year-old girl. Emily Jones stabbed to death in the neck. But the "SJW's" choose to rage over an adult male with a criminal record in the USA.

For weeks we have been arguing about the minute details of viral transmission and keeping indoors. Now masses of people gather in cities across the world for a protest and the authorities do nothing. It just goes ahead.
The irony of protesters chanting 'I can't breathe' as they allegedly raise the risk of catching and spreading a respiratory disease!
Weeks of people having to miss surgeries, funerals, weddings etc. Now this, all on a global scale. We are being psychologically manipulated.

The Social Justice Movement should never be discussed in the abstract. And the proof is now all around you in almost every city. What is really disturbing is that the pot has been boiling ever since Hillary Clinton and the evil Democrats failed to establish Marxism in the USA in 2017. And no one has properly addressed Anarchism in the USA.

President Trump should have had a detailed, strategic, and rapid response plan in place at all times, especially after the Ferguson riots back in 2014. He and his advisers should have known that this has been a recurring theme since the Rodney King riots back in 1992. Therefore it was imperative that the federal government and the president be ready at all times to deal with such things, not depend on state governors, many of whom are Leftists and Communists.

Within minutes of the riots in Minneapolis, rapid response teams should have been dispatched to quell the riots and arrest the perpetrators.

God did not create the black man, yellow man, red man, brown man, or white man. In fact we don't know what skin color Adam and Eve were.
If we take the Bible seriously and believe it's history then we know that the population of earth today came from one family.
Noah's family. A family that found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Scripture does not tell us if they were (blended) .
So in my eyes we all have a relationship with one another. I believe in the Lords eyes too.
Let me stop here and ask is this the biblical outlook you are asking about?
If not then this I believe is where we should reflect and start. Who is my brother?

Two people told me I’m racist because I proclaim All Lives Matter, and by doing so I imply Black lives don’t matter.

Orwell’s thought police are alive and well today as seen by the words and actions of predominantly White paternalistic liberals.

The death of George Floyd was very sad, but had nothing to do with the color of his skin.
I agree that it likely did not, since the police officer was married to a Laotian woman.

If he was a hardcore racist, I doubt if he would have been married to a minority.

By the way, there was a similar death at the hands of police officers of a white person. They even joked about it as he was dying.

No one made a fuss over it, though, due to the color of his skin.

The real issue is regeneration. Until regeneration occurs, men will not be at peace with one another. And even then, Satan continues to stir up hatred.

I believe Covid 19 is a real risk, and you are right..it is ironic that "I can't breathe" is being used as a mantra. In a few weeks they may not be able to breathe.

We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other.
