At Least 2 Killed In Nationwide Protests Over George Floyd's Death
One person was killed in Detroit as hundreds of people gathered in the city's downtown area as part of the nationwide protests.
As WXYZ TV, an ABC News affiliate, reported, a Detroit Police Department spokesperson said, "A grey Dodge Durango pulled up and fired into the crowd, striking a 19-year-old man." The shooting did not involve police.
In Oakland, Calif., a contract security officer for the Federal Protective Service was killed and another injured in a shooting at the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building on Friday night, according to a statement from the FBI. The service is part of the Department of Homeland Security.
The officers were shot after a vehicle approached the building, and "an individual inside the vehicle began firing."

Agreed. But these rioters were waiting for an excuse to unleash violence, destruction and anarchy across America. And guess who is behind all this? Leftist billionaire George Soros who has been funding Antifa since 2016. Yet no one has gone after him or named his as the chief conspirator. There may be other billionaires involved also.
Attorney General William Barr has identified the rioters and looters as Antifa and other Far Left groups but he has not mentioned Soros. Without the money that Soros is pouring into this, there would be no riots.

On March 4, hundreds of Antifa activists descended on Berkeley to use violence to disrupt a “March 4 Trump” rally. At least 10 protesters were arrested. The same day Woody Kaine, son of Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va..), was part of an Antifa assault on Trump supporters in the rotunda of the Minnesota Capitol. Kaine fought with police as they tried to arrest him for lobbing a smoke bomb.
On March 25, Antifa launched a counter-protest at a pro-Trump event in Philadelphia. They chanted, “Any time, any place, punch a Nazi in the face!” and forced the cancelation of the rally. Antifa hurled bricks at Trump supporters during a march in Portland, Oregon, on June 4. Police relied on tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the mob. [Question: Why did Mr. Trump fail to go after Antifa at that time as a terrorist organization and have them all arrested and prosecuted? Therefore he too is partly responsible for what is now happening]
On August 19, “[w]hen a few dozen people held a free speech rally in Boston…, some 40,000 ‘anti-fascist’ protesters gathered to stage a counter-demonstration,” according to a report. “All told, there were 33 arrests, mostly for disorderly conduct and assaults on police officers.”The same month in Berkeley, Antifa protested President Trump’s proposed border wall and the very existence of America. “No Trump, No Wall, No USA at All!” they chanted...

Ask ten random looters running with cases of alcohol if they know the name of the man killed. But not one of them will know it. This has nothing to do with Floyd.
Just saying. They tried peaceful protest and that didn't work
also if I killed someone on camera in broad daylight, I would be in police custody within the hour
It wouldn't take burning down the entire city for me to be arrested

He was arrested two days ago, right? So why are they still at it? Stores being looted, is that to force them to arrest a cop? Nope! The first day there may have been some sincere protesters. After that it's just an excuse to break the law, destroy property and run buck wild. Again I say, this has nothing to do with Floyd.
the fact that this even happened in the first place is a testament that peaceful protest don't work
This officer had 18 prior complaints against him for unnecessary violence so the entire police department is complicit
I don't condone violence and destruction of property but at the very least, if a police officer knows that rioters will destroy the entire city if he kills someone for no reason, it might make him think twice
The police should fear the people, not the other way around

How are the police going to do their job if the fear the people? What an odd comment. There should be mutual respect. Weed out bad apples quickly and problem will be solved.

A mob has a cycle of violence that doesn’t subside before there has been a crescendo, or before some external power has forced the mob to stand down.
The way I see it the arrest of the officer is not enough of a crescendo. It doesn’t put an end to this in the eyes of the mob. It’s like vigilante law, the mob doesn’t stop before someone is swinging from the nearest tree.
The authorities need to put an end to this before it spreads throughout the country. They have to communicate. More violence is now contra productive.

This might make the thugs think twice , and I whipped my children when they were young .. No coddling or brats acting up , talking back ever in my house , no such thing as ''time out'' either .. And no community to raise my children .. Why do our black communities put up with it all, but expect others to ''fix'' it for them ..
