It’s status quo in here again, people making up their theology on the fly, God’s wrath is really love, hell is also love.

Utter foolishness.

It’s called being theologically inept while trying to get God off the hook.

It’s like Sproul said, people run around with “God Bless America” stickers on their car, but couldn’t fathom the thought he may not, and that he can exercise justice instead, and cursing. You all have a truncated and domesticated God and gospel.

Hell isn’t God’s love, it is devoid of love and is away from the presence of the LORD, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9. His wrath is not love, that’s just a foolish statement. Wrath is judgment on the condemned and lost, only those IN CHRIST receive his love.

Scripture is clear, God does hate wicked people, not their sin, them. You all attacked the OP because he sought to share the entire counsel of God, something many of you loathe. People show their true colors here, when presented with all the truths and attributes of God they show they are hostile in their minds, Colossians 1:21 &c.

As a Christian, I think it's not 100% right to base the definition of love on affection. God is love and anything that do not portray the attributes of God do not reflect love.
To be more practical, I define love as an act of commitment that has no hidden deal but reveals the truth unknown.

If God hates evil people. He hates everyone

Because all have sinned and fall short.

God created hell for Satan and his angels.. Men chose to suffer that separation. It is not that God desires to send them their he has no choice.

God is perfect love, A love many can not comprehend He is also perfect justice. Sadly a justice many can not understand either.

Love Can not over rule justice. But Love DID find a way. By sending Jesus to the world. that all who believe will have eternal life.

That’s a quaint saying. Devoid of Scriptural truth, but nonetheless quaint.

I think pure unadulterated love, as in The love of God. Is a self denying totally others focused unconditional love, The kind Christ showed on earth. And ultimately with his own sacrifice

As the good book says, No greater love has any man that he give his life

And remember, CHrist died when we were his enemy

Why would you ask if something were wrong?
Based on your post on me, I fail to see from you any discussion from the Scripture of truth and that might be reason and yet the two mentioned is I don't know. Can you relate that to what I said. Please use or back with scripture. THANKS.

Here is something for you scholars to digest: The man in Romans 9:19-20? He is complaining to God for God not having mercy on every single person, then blaming God for still finding fault with them. He too feels like God owes man and in turn blames God. Many here do the same. I’d suggest repentance? Just a thought.

You need to use Scripture, your post to which I replied to had zero Scripture. The burden of proof is on you, not me.

I quoted someone else not you, you but in with no scripture. The burden of proof is in you. I made some Facts you've failed to see and that is scripture of truth. Again I see no scripture from you. So...

2 Corinthians 6:2 King James Version (KJV)-Behold now is accepted time...
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

That’s a wrong beginning premise, devoid of biblical truth. Sorry if you feel its slanderous or hateful of me to point out its error.
Prove it is a wrong premise

Otherwise all you have is your opinion.

God's chastisement is love, but I don't think hell and wrath is love. It is judgement and eternal punishment. However, all through out scripture God does send out a warning, and sent his Son to die for the world. So he sent the warning, message, and an escape for any who would believe.

Scripture says that God is not slack concerning his promises. He is long suffering not willing that any should perish, but that all come to repentance.

Also scripture states that he takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked...and even instructs them to turn and live.
Ezekiel 33
Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? 11Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

The mere fact this world has not been destroyed PROVED God has mercy on all.

Scripture says he is suffering, slow to wrath. He proved that by being long suffering on Israel. They deserved wrath LONG before it was given

Here is your initial post to which I responded, zero Scripture, and again, zero Scripture in the post you replied to prior:
Yup, His wrath is an attribute of His justice. God is love. Amen.

Oh please. You made no facts whatsoever, just some saying with zero Scripture or truth. Now you toss one in, and it proves nothing.
