"God loves everyone" - false

Thats your view, Does not make it fact

to me, world means world..

It does not mean anything other than world

To make it say something else is to make it change the meaning of the word.

Thats dangerous

How would you interpret the following verse;

Luke 14:26 If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Just so you know. The hebrew term there does not literally mean hate

It means to "Love less"

The law says we are to love our parent's and honor them. And in fact Jesus himself tells us to love all people.

Yet look what jesus said

Luke 14:26
“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.

Now is Jesus telliing us to go against his own command to love and honor them? Or is he telling us the hebrew thought of loving less.

Ie, Jesus is telling us if we put any of these people over god Ilove them more) we can not be his disciple?

I think the word says he died with us when we were yet sinners.

Did he die for only certain sinners?

If so. Why did he differentiate especially since the words says ALL have sinned.. Would that not put us in the same boat?

The word hate used there.

"For God so loved the world" refers to the fact that Jesus was speaking to a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews (John 16:1) who believed that only the Jews were saved to the exclusion of the rest of the world. John 3:18 and 19 clear up any question about the matter.

Yep. World means world

EVERYONE, not just jews.. I agree.. But the gospel is for all.. Not everyone will accept it though.. do you agree?
