It's the false gospel of Antinomianism.
i dont keep up with all the "ISMS" there are to many to count. Jesus did good works, followed the law, im gonna follow that example. thats what Paul and the 12 did. i find it hard to believe someone follows the example of Christ, goes to heaven and gets told they made a mistake for following Jesus.

@EleventhHour I feel we've got off on the wrong foot, so I'd like to take this opportunity to put everything aside and concentrate on something much more important: love.
I do love you Biblically.
Do you love me in the same way also?
We actually did not get off on the wrong foot... I completely disagree with your OP I read it carefully before I even gave the red X.

Twenty seven pages of people trying to correct you ... maybe you can change your mind about salvation being secure and then worry about finding the love.

Well we can disagree, but we should not allow this to act as a wall to prevent us loving one another.

I love you Biblically.
Do you love me also?

its also the thing you can ask them, such as "do works matter?" and they will avoid the question like the plague.
If they don't believe that the way we behave matters, and that keeping God's commandments matter, I wonder if they think sex outside of marriage, idolatry, adultery, etc don't matter.

No. I'm a Christian that's trying to encourage each of us to rise above the bickering in this thread by returning to what is most important: love.

So I say again: I love you Biblically.
Do you feel the same way about me?

Probably not my place to respond here, but really why do you keep asking this same question to everyone? Do you really love them all Biblically or not? Do you love them all as yourself?

I'm just an outsider looking in on this one but I saw many of your posts here where you were calling people lazy Christians and distorting what they were actually saying....Do you think that is Biblical LOVE....So again I ask do you really love them....Or are you just saying and using that as a way to back peddle.

Well people misrepresented what I said too.

I'm saying let's put aside everything that we've said to eachother and unite in Biblical love.

Nobody has implied this at all. This is why when asked you get reject stamped on your "theory".

You stand in for the folks that accused Paul claiming we can sin because of grace - Rom 6:15 - we aren't unawares of you folks.

And not any sin, but the most egregious you can think of, which shows the condition of your own hearts.

Oh! So you are saying that keeping God's commandments matter.

I don't expect a straight answer, but I love you anyway :)

I have no feelings one way or the other ... last time I looked this was the Bible Discussion Forum...... NOT the Love Discussion Forum

Well, fine by me...Like I said I'm just an outsider looking in, and to be honest with you I didn't see where anyone said they hated you. They just didn't agree with you. Do you think disagreeing equals not loving someone?

Those accusations come from those who exalt their own "worthiness" and works.

No, I don't think that disagreeing equates to not loving someone.

But I think that in this thread disagreement have begun to get personal, which is why I'm trying to use love to rise above that.
