Here are a few prophesies from Revelation 22: in fact 10 prophecies (depending how you count them).
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
So I expect that in the city there will not by any curse, God's throne will be there, God's servants will serve Him, and they will see His face, etc. Just like the text says . . . I fail to see what is hard about that ??
Fulfillment is the outcome of an unfulfilled prophecy. Why do you insist on complicating such simple things? What is your agenda?
Many are deceived by false prophets today. Can you think of any examples where their predictions did not pan out?
1 These 4:15-18 just doesn't say that the church will get raptured before the great tribulation. All it says is that Jesus will return a second time which is in agreement with the rest of New Testament prophecy.
Matthew 24 says that Jesus returns after the tribulation which would place the "rapture" as a simaltaneous event that coincides with the 2nd coming and the ending of the battle of Armageddon.
2 Thess 2: 1-12 says that a rebellion, or falling away, also known as the great apostasy of the church, before the anti-Christ sets up shop in third temple.
So here is a more accurate timeline as far as I can tell and in my humble interpretation:
0. Beginning of birth pains (where we are now)
1. Rebellion of the church
2. The rise of the anti-Christ
3. The great tribulation
4. - 8. (Most likely occuring at the same time) Return of Christ, End of the Battle of Armageddon, rapture, kingdom age, white throne judgement.

It is very reassuring knowing we have and do study the Word noting prophecies and simply awaiting their development in our Father-s time. Frankly, I find staying away from attempting to define the prophecies comforting, for I cannot add or take away from what they mean by simple conclusions of my mind. Mine is not my Father-s though we all work to be this way on His day.
If you can explain how the 88 Reasons heresy grew from a different root, then by all means, I won't mix them.
LOL! If it is symbolism, that is still exactly what the text says. Funny how now it is you that is interpreting prophecy when you previously said that we could not know what it means (or at least you are sure what it does not mean!)
Oh, the 88 reasons probably comes out of some radical persons in the "futurist" camp to be sure. The difference is that the "88 reasons" set a specific date/year. That is something most futurists I know refuse to do.
I can probably find some radical minority wing of any camp of interpretation that makes the rest look like fools. (But then if you think all futurists are foolish, then I can see why you put them all in the same group! LOL!

I used an extreme example as an illustration of bad fruit. What is the fruit of the futurist view? All I see is scripture twisting, fear-mongering, date-setting, and parodies of genuine prophetic giftings.
Revelation uses symbols that if you take literally destroys the meaning of the symbol.
Well no that is actually not true. We may not fully understand the prophecies but he encourages us to seek out the truth of matters.
No one fully understood the prophecy of the savior coming in fact they expected a conqueror like david but they understood the prophecy enough to expect him.
The three wise men studied the heavens because they knew that God speaks in the heavens every star is alined perfectly to tell his plan and story of salvation, when they saw the star of David they knew what to expect they knew the savior was finally here.
Did you know that a third of the bible is bible prophecy? we would be foolish to try to study the scriptures and seek the truth if we were not able to understand them. To be scripturally sound is to have the wisdom of kings and it isn't by our own understanding that the scriptures reveal themselves and unless I am mistaken since when is anything impossible with God?
