Satan has no power over a believer; only the unbelievers. Because the scripture says to resist the devil and he will flee from you.

But a person who ventures back into sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth has probably been delivered to despair by God himself.

Proverbs 1:23-30
[23] Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. [24] Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; [25] But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: [26] I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; [27] When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. [28] Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: [29] For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord : [30] They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
So Peter never had a moment of failure after his regeneration? Never the slightest vaccilating moment? Ever? Disclosure: I have had thousands of failure episodes.

.you shohld be banned for saying ALL CHURCHES are in sin or wrong and you ALONE are righteous and serving God.....
Just like the wicked Jews in Jeremiah’s day. They banned him to prison, a pit, and into hiding for rebuking them.

Funny though, it was the Babylonians who freed him.

I'm still trying to deduce what is going on in this persons head.
Well for one he does not believe all sins, past present and future are paid for at the cross... all future sins much be confessed and forgiven.

As well this leads to gaining the states of sinlessness which is what is required to be saved. I think this is it more or less.

God knows when a honest believer, who speaks the truth in his heart, is weak and in need of help. If he is not willfully, with wreckless abandon, going into sin, God is there for them always.

Maybe it’s time for this:

James 4:8-10
[8] Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. [9] Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. [10] Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

It hurts my heart when people place undue burdens upon themselves and others regarding the simplicity of God’s grace.

And we are discussing that salvation is a secure gift.

Like all of those of your ilk... you continually bring up verses that in no way are referencing the self-maintenance/loss of spiritual salvation

Just for the record.

I did not join this site and just starting posting topics and pushing Bible truth.

All that I have posted has been in response to discussion exchanges.

I’m not pushing anything. I just offer sound doctrine from the Bible to edify Christians.

The truth hurts sometimes.

The word of God is like hammer, breaking all false doctrines to pieces.

Get that hammer and start waling away at OSAS. It will break after the first strike!

Your error is that you see us as OSAS’ers rather than believers in Jesus Christ.

Once Saved Always Saved
is ......... God's Perfect Plan of Salvation.

Romans 8:38,39–For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hebrews 7:25–Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Philippians 1:6–Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

1 John 5:13 - These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

This is both tragic and hilarious.. that keeps happening on this thread.. just something.

What you have is dogma, a narrative, effort, striving, working, maintaining, and if you were honest with yourself ..........a sheer sense of futility towards an unattainable goal.

Your biased agenda is clear and you are not fooling me or any of my brothers and sisters in Christ from the OSAS camp, but feel free to vent your frustrations if it makes you feel better. Whatever gets you through your day. ;)

I'm still trying to deduce what is going on in this persons head.

He is one of those who do not trust TEACHERS or PASTORS, so he does not go to CHURCH, and is deceived by his own thoughts.

He has wondered off the FIELD of Truthful Interpretation, and is in a ball park on the wrong side of town.

Hebrews 10:23-25 (HCSB)
23 Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
24 And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works,
25 not staying away from our ⌊worship⌋ meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

I asked him the question concerning future sins and forgiveness.

I cannot recall a response.

It may be that Abraham willfully and with reckless abandon and despair begot Ishmael. Maybe.
