Yes, but we do not love perfectly, only God can do that.... as well we love because He first loved us.

This does not support your dogma of "sinlessness" anyway.
Once again your deeds will not save you, they never did and never will.
Amen....not that we LOVED HIM, BUT THAT HE LOVED US AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR US.......people are saved by faith not love!

Be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience (Titus 2:2).

Follow after love (1 Corinthians 14:1).

But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you (John 5:42).

But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him (1 John 2:5).

It is rather disturbing....the way he focuses on self, denies truth, and is obsessed with losing that which is irrevocably given in Christ.....a true enemy of Christ by word and doctrine!
Well, Saul (later Paul) was a true enemy of Christ, but God changed that.......perhaps there is hope for Judges1318. (y)

Won't he have fun on his "Road to Damascus".......lol! :giggle::love:(y)

I wonder if any of the honest OSAS'ers will rebuke this hateful insulting speech.

Man, you are bold in your nastiness.
Well, I admit dc is a little rough around the edges, but God loves him and we love him, too!(y)

We also love you, Micaiah-imla and God loves you, too!(y)

@dcontroversal a little rough around the edges, surely not:cool:

Ok actually he is.
I say this based on culture differences, what one person considers rough in the UK is different to what one says in Aus or the USA, what one considers a swear word in one country is not the same in another.

I have experienced attacks on this forum for being too nice and not hard enough in responses, but that is my culture but I can be and am hard in responses when engagement fails and it gets personal.

Sad fact is and as I had to explain to someone on here a couple of days ago what you conisider a swear word and it's a sin may actually just be an expression of their thoughts.

Anyway I digress.

I love him too. He is a great steadfast loyal brother from another mother and I actually like him.

The funny thing is we are not called to like people but called to love them.
We can love them even if we do not like them.

I have generally found that when I have had the reverse of that, the people that I do not like but love (based on experience of helping them out) then actually I do like them.

So the aim should always be, love them regardless, an AGAPAE love.

The truth is the truth...not my fault you are offended by truth and my post is valid and true....based upon 6 to 7 years on this site and seeing false religionists come and go like cars in a drive thru.....a dime a dozen and all of them are the same.....so....the fact that you defend them speaks volumes!! Of course we already know who you espouse by what johnny come lately dogma you espouse and peddle!

I suppose so.....but as long as one believes THEY must maintain that which JESUS promises to finish and complete or peddles a dime store salvation that can be lost like a coin on the street and or counts the blood of Jesus a common ordinary base thing while trampling Jesus under foot.....he is in real trouble and in like 3 to 4 times as opposed to two fold.........the road to hell is paved with false religion, good works, good intentions and skewed gospels.....! Only one has power.....the rest seal one's doom!

This is worldly talk.

Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, Galatians, Corinthians, Ephesians, Philippians; he wrote to them to all behave in the same manner. As saints. And he spelled it out in plain words given to him by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said, "I will never leave you or forsake you"

Yet Cainologists, Salvation losers, workers for and self faith maintaining religionists say he will.

Believe and trust Jesus....reject the deceivers!

Jesus by Paul's hand says, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his MERCY HAS HE SAVED US."

The Cainologists, religionists, working for salvation losers say we must do works to get or keep our salvation.

Trust Jesus and HIS MERCY WHICH ENDURES FOREVER....reject the deceivers!

@dcontroversal and @EleventhHour - I have a hypothesis......

Believers get unsure about their salvation because they don't understand the "work of the Holy Spirit with the Word of God" to restore their soul by transforming their mind.

What do you think, dc and 11th?

I'm only talking about true born again believers that struggle with their flesh because they don't understand the power of the Holy Spirit that is available to them.

We preach so much Word, which is good.......but, the Holy Spirit is necessary because we need to learn how to walk by the Spirit so we do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

Jesus said, "I will lose NOTHING, but raise it up the last day."

The Cainologists, self faith sustainers, salvation losers and religionists deny this truth and say that JESUS IS TO WEAK TO KEEP US and we by our failures will cause God to cast us away.

Believe and trust Jesus at his word....reject the deceivers that deny truth!

Jesus said clearly that the Holy Spirit, when he comes, will not speak of himself but incessantly and constantly point to Christ....My view...a lack of prayer, study, growth and maturity leads to a spiritually immature, stunted believer.....a two souled man tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine.....When I was first saved and lacked a good solid foundation in the word I sometimes doubted/struggled.....and when I actually started studying, praying, attending church faithfully and studying the word about 40 to 60 hours a week and then going to seminary where they taught us the tools to study with....as I began to grow and mature, the more I seen God in my life and as a Father he answered requests, whipped my butt a few times etc. my doubt was replaced with assurance....
