Sign healings are for unbelievers. Why then do christians seek sign healings done by gifted healers rather than have faith in Christ's atonement for healing as did the woman in Mathew 9:22?

Read the post again Jesus clearly stated "these signs are for believers" they how the faith for God to heal others through them
the woman in Matt 9:22 she met Christ on the earth, Christ now operates through believers today manifesting HIS power through them

Yes I agree we can be healed by natural means but can you show me in the bible where God did not healed supernaturally once, all I know God is a supernatural God

Churches who strongly believe in healing will tend to look at the 4 gospels and early Acts. It is understandable since so many healings took place then.

But they forgot that Jesus and the 12 were given signs to testify to Israel that the Messiah had arrived. Those healings were not random acts of kindness but for a specific purpose.

Its very hard to have a strong case for healing based only on Paul's instructions to the Body of Christ, which is Romans to Philemon. You will encounter difficult issues like "Why did Paul advise Timothy to drink wine because of his illness, when Paul's hankerchiefs could heal anyone during Acts?

You are confusing between sign healings and sign gifts. Christians performing sign healings on unbelievers is different from christians seeking sign healings.

Paul didn't perform sign healing on Timothy because Timothy was no longer an unbeliever. Sign healing is meant for unbelievers.

Don't teach christians to depend on gifted healers for healing. Teach them instead to have faith in Christ's atonement for their healing.

obviously you don't have the faith to ask God for the gift of healing and the gift of healing is one of the gifts of the Holy Ghost God wants to give to believers so we leave it at that

The gift of healing is to perform sign healing for unbelievers in order to lead them to Christ. That is not what the discussion is about.

The discussion is about christians treating those with gift of healing as mediators of healing from God. Thus christians don't grow in faith!

It is not unfriendliness to a lady but unfriendliness towards heresy.

Regarding healing you deny Christ's atonement and and therefore not a follower of Christ but you are a follower of medical doctor as your Messiah/mediator.
Please sir, could you elaborate on my heresy...thank you

Why did JESUS do what HE did in Matthew 8

Paul hankerchiefs could heal in Acts and yet, by the time of his death, he advise Timothy to take wine for his sickness.

Why do you think he did not send one hankerchief to Timothy instead?
Letś go back to Peterś shadow, then....

The verse states "for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities".

You cannot conclude its ONLY indigestion.
The direction to the young timothy were to keep him settled in his upcoming ministry...that he did not, and should not feel that he was sinning, if he drank a little wine for his infirmities. That´s all...this was just one of Paul´s many directives to Timothy....

Totally wrong. Faith is believing on "things not seen" which refers to both the "work of Christ's atonement" and the "salvation from wrath / healing from sicknesses etc" it includes. Both are unseen to us.
The work of Christ´s atonement sir is really NOT, to a CHRISTIAN...any longer...unseen...
